政策効果に関して信頼性の高いエビデンスを得るためには,因果関係を評価できる適切な手法を利用することが重要である。本稿では,回帰不連続デザイン及び差分の差分法をレビューした川崎(2020;2021)に続き,操作変数法に焦点を当て,その基本的な概念や農業経済学分野における応用例を紹介する。There are several econometric methods for evaluating the causal impact of agricultural policies. In previous studies, the regression discontinuity design and the difference-in-differences method were reviewed (Kawasaki 2020, 2021). In this study, we review the basic concept of instrumental variable method and its applications in the field of agricultural economics.
