Let x1,x2,…, xn be n data, and F(x)=(x1-x)^2+(x2-x)^2+…+(xn-x)^2→min, then we get, x=(x1+x2+…+xn)/n=μand F(μ)=n^*σ^2,where ^2 : square, σ : the standard deviation. The Standard Deviation is not the mean distance from the Mean(Arithmetic Mean), one of the averages. If G(x)=|x1-x|+|x2-x|+…+|xn-x|→min, we can get the Median as the value of x, me, another average. What is the. meaning of the minimum value of G(x), G(me)=|x1-me|+|x2-me|+…+|xn-me|? We will propose d, a Median Mean Deviation, and consider the meaning of d.

The main purpose of this research was to discover the behavior of corporate organization. In order to accomplish this, the author reviewed research pertaining to organization theory and investigated five typical theories such as Organizational Ecology Theory, Institutional Theory, Resource Dependence Theory, Transaction Cost Theory and Organizational Network Analysis in this paper. Based upon the comparative study of the five organization theories mentioned above, and the economic theory of Sismonde de Sismondi, the author found that network analysis could be considered as a comprehensive effect perspective. Due to the advances in many application areas such as sociology, economics, and others, it has become increasingly apparent that the study of network organization is of crucial importance. Characters of quantitative measurement and qualitative analysis for network organization are explained in this paper. The new issue of the relationship between network analysis and the architecture of production system are referred to at the end of this paper.

We want to understand the meaning of the Napier Number e and try to make clear the meaning in the business field for example. For business administration students, we propose a financial example. The statement "lim__<n→∞>(1+1/n)^n = e" is illustrated. And some episodes of the Napier Number e - area problem, differential of exponential function, definition of e, Eider's formula and so on - are mentioned.

The Belousov-Zhabotinskii (BZ) reaction is a phenomenon of a nonlinear chemical oscillator. The Oregonator model system with photochemical pathway is a mathematical model of the photosensitive BZ reaction. In the paper, the global well-posedness of this system is shown and to investigate the large time behavior of the solutions the exponential attractor is constructed.

複素代数曲面の研究において,代数曲面の2重被覆の理論は重要な役割を果たしてきた.この理論と同様の理論を被覆次数が3以上の代数曲面の被覆について構築を試みた.その成果として,3次対称群被覆,双2重被覆や巡回4重被覆のデータの表し方を整理し,特異点解消プロセスと不変量公式を与えた.また,被覆の理論を利用し,3重被覆の分岐因子や有理曲面上の特異曲線に関する具体的問題を解決することが出来た.
