大学生の自己健康管理を促すきっかけを作るため、ルームスプレー作りを通してアロマテラピー体験を行う健康講座を2012年度より本学の保健環境センターで開催した(全9回)。第7回までは女性の参加者が大多数だった。2014年度は男子学生の参加を促すために男性限定で健康講座を開催した。1回目の開催では男子学生の参加が無かったが、2回目では男子学生の参加があり講座は好評を得られ終了した。今後も募集方法や開催日時、内容等を検討して、参加できる学生が増えるように工夫していく必要がある

本研究では,月経に伴う様々な苦痛の原因として重要な疾患である月経前症候群の,身体・精神症状や気分に対するフットマッサージの効果について,性格傾向との交互作用も併せて検討した。その結果,フットマッサージは自覚症状の軽減には必ずしも有効とは言えなかったが,怒り・敵意や混乱といった負の気分の軽減には有効と考えられた。また,非社会的な人には,不安の軽減効果が,不満をため込みやすい人には,泣きそうな気分やめまいの軽減効果が見られた一方,温厚で順応性がある人では,マッサージをしない方が泣きそうな気分の軽減効果が大きいなど,性格傾向によりマッサージの効果が異なることが示唆された。

インターネットは生活に必要なツールである一方で,不健全な傾倒(Problematic Internet Use, PIU)が指摘されている。PIU とはインターネット中毒,インターネット乱用,インターネット依存症などの総称であり,ギャンブル中毒や物質依存に似た症状を見せる。また,孤独感・社会不安・低い自己肯定感など,様々な心理的悪影響を及ぼすとされる。しかし,国内におけるPIU に関する心理社会的研究は少ない。そこで,本展望論文ではPIU に関する近年の研究動向を概観した。また,PIU の原因の一つとされるオンラインゲームに関しても研究動向をまとめた。最後に,今後のPIU 及びオンラインゲーム研究の方法論における注意点を述べた。Internet is now an essential tool for our daily lives; however, problematic Internet use (PIU) and related social and psychological issues are not well-researched in Japan compared with western countries, Korea, and China. PIU is an unhealthy attachment to Internet-based technologies, and also termed Internet addiction, Internet abuse, and Internet dependency. Because PIU is similar to gambling and substance addiction and has various negative psychological effects such as depression, loneliness, anxiety, low self-esteem, and social skill deficit, it is important educational issues. Thus, the purpose of this paper was to review existing research on PIU. Study trends on problematic online game use (POGU) and its relationship with competitiveness and hostility along with theoretical background are also reviewed. Additionally, suggestions for research methodology are argued.
