The symposium of the 29th annual conference was hels on the topic of "Memory and Parapsychology". S.Hagio presented his experiments of investigating parapsychological effects in associative memory process, referring to the three important results by previous researchers. N.Ohta, who is the Japanese authority of episodic memory, introduced his experiments of the word-completion test he made to see a priming effect. His results show that the reproduction of the once-learned word is better when together with a low-associated concomitant word than a high-associated one. A.Onda discussed the omnipresent and transcendent field of transmitting information from his background of creativity psychology. O.Watanuki discussed the memory hierarchy and ultra-high density recording technology of computers and its relation to parapsychology. Active discussions were developed on the topics of episidic memory, the memory process and creativity, the subliminal effect, and so forth.
