近年 観光地では高齢者 障害者,外国人を含む様々な人に配慮したユニバーサルデザイン(UD)の考え方が重視されつつある. 我々は 歴史文化財の2008年度世界文化遺産登録を目指しているが古都平泉において UD概念による観光情報システムの研究開発を行っている. 本稿では まず研究基盤として試作したRFID/GIS連携サーバについて述べる. 次にRFID携帯電話とITAGサーバを使った観光情報UD化のための基礎的な実験で得られた知見について報告する.In recent years, in tourist sites, the notion of universal design, which gives special consideration to various types of tourists including elderly, disabled and foreign people, is becoming increasingly important. In Hiraizumi areas that are expected to be registered on the World Heritage List in 2008, we are currently conducting experimental field tests for the universally designed tourist information system. This paper first describes the prototyping of the ITAG server to connect RFID and GIS and then examines some important points obtained through the basic testing using ITAG server and mobile phones with RFID readers.
