Article本論文は、大正・昭和期の立憲政治家として活躍した斎藤隆夫に焦点を合わせて、第一に戦争肯定論にたちながら、なぜ軍部批判を展開することが可能であったのか、第二に斎藤における戦争と平和の見方を政治思想史の視角から分析したものである。Focusing on Saito Takao being active as a constitutional statesman in Taisho and Showa years, I inquired why he could show the attitude against the military,in spite of affirming positively the war,and considerd the dilemma in thinking about war and peace in the context of political thought.
