『当麻中将姫和讃』は現在大阪教育大学小野恭靖研究室所蔵の和讃資料一冊である。この和讃は大和国当麻寺伝来の曼荼羅の縁起にかかわるもので、中将姫伝説に基づいて創作されている。この和讚が注目されるのは、従来紹介されていた中将姫関連の和讃とは内容を異にしている点である。本文には中将姫伝説を収録した一部の江戸期文献と共通する登場人物名が見え、この和讃の成立時期や成立背景をおよそ推定することが可能である。 本稿では従来未紹介の『当麻中将姫和讃』一冊を翻刻し、位置付けを行うことを目的とする。Wasan is the songs that praise Buddism. Among those wasan there are the songs which theme is the legend of Chujou-hime. Five kinds of wasan related to Chujou-hime have been known so far."Taima Chujou-hime Wasan(当麻中将姫和讃)"is introduced in this report. This wasan, which treats the legend of Chujou-hime, was not found.
