This paper presents a new efficient real-coded genetic algorithms for constrained optimization. In general, it is efficient to use the gradient methods for the constrained optimization. However, because actual design problems often include extremely nonlinear or discontinuous characters, the gradient methods do not necessarily work well. Therefore, the present authors developed the "Center Neighborhood Crossover (CNX)" for real-coded genetic algorithms and applied to truss structure optimization. But, GAs have some fatal problems in handling the constraints. In the constrained optimization using GAs, designers have to translate the constrained problem to a basic unconstrained problem by using some methods such as the penalty function methods. It is, however, difficult to decide appropriate penalty parameters. In the present study, we developed "Real-coded Genetic Algorithms with Active Constraints (RGAAC)" In RGAAC, the points outside feasible area is pulled back to active constraints by the gradient method. The present method enables an efficient search.

In recent years, in research fields such as gait analysis, ergonomics and sport, video processing has been used. A high speed camera can observe a motion slowly. We can get an animation of a slow motion by taking a number of frames at the time of photography. A motion capture is also a technique to record the movement of a real person and object digitally. We visualize a movement of the kendo, and analysis a motion of the lower limbs during swing of an experiencer or a beginner. The measurement contents are velocity measurement of the tip of the shinai. Motion analysis of lower limbs and analysis of tendon motion by floor reaction force. There was difference in velocity of the tip of the shinai by a person with experience and an inexperienced person. In the motion analysis on lower limbs, it has been understood that power to step is five times larger than power to kick.

In the present study, the rule was defined rationally by making clearly the dynamics phenomenon about an overhand pass. An overhand pass in volleyball is important basic skill. However, the difference between overhand pass and catching isn't also defined by a rule book. Then no one tells the difference clearly. There are no ways but a referee judges by the subjectivity. Therefore we advanced a study by the following procedures. At the first, it was described about elastic rebound of a ball and phenomenon of "volley ball" was made clear. At the second, we defined which overhand pass is elastic rebound using Muscle-tendon complex. At the third, it was evaluated by running a motion analysis. As a result, it was recognized that the motion analysis is equal to the motion of an overhand pass. Finally, we defined about overhand pass rationally using above mentioned results.

構造物の設計では設計変数を実数として扱うことが多い.このような場合,傾斜法を用いた最適化を行なうのが普通である.しかしながら,評価にFEMモデルを用いた場合など,非線形性や誤差などが原因で,必ずしも良好な解探索を実現できない.そこで,本研究では,CADモデルより生成した大規模FEMモデルを用いた最適設計での種々の問題点を明らかにし,大規模問題に適用可能な手法,「制約引き戻し法」を提案した.本手法を用いれば,効率的に許容解を求めることが可能であり,評価に時間のかかる大規模な問題に対しても,効率的に設計可能な解を探索できる.
