In order to consider countermeasures against concrete cracks caused by drying shrinkage, properties and pore size distribution of raw ore of aggregate which were used usually in Kansai area were measured at the first step. As a result, the following was found. There was a big difference at drying shrinkage ratio of each raw ore and there was a difference by core boring direction, too. But, even if same kind of raw ore, some have a big difference at drying shrinkage ratio by core boring direction, but the other doesn't have. High young's modulus of raw ore decreases its drying shrinkage. Low pore volume under 15nm radius of raw ore tends to decrease its drying shrinkage.
