現在までに蓄積された紙媒体によるアナログ地域資料は膨大な数に上る。これらを早急にデジタルアーカイブ化することは容易ではない。アナログ地域資料の完全なデジタルアーカイブ作業が実現されるまで、地域資料のデジタルアーカイブを簡便に実現し、インターネット上で地域資料内容の検索やアクセスを可能とすることが求められている。そこで本研究では、市民参加型で地域資料を出典としながら、ウィキペディア上にその内容を編集するウィキペディアタウン活動成果のテキストマイニング分析から、その意義について考察した。その結果、地域資料の簡便なデジタルアーカイブ化を実現した。それにより、埋もれている膨大な地域資料へのデジタルな入り口を作ることで、インターネットを通じた再発見機会を提供することができた。

本研究では、インターネット百科事典Wikipediaと同じく、現在、最も知られているオープンデータプラットフォームであるWikimedia Commonsに着目した。そして、兵庫県伊丹市に残る酒造り唄を伊丹市立図書館ことば蔵における市民参加型活動にて、Wikimedia Commonsにオープンデータデジタルアーカイブする試みについて、その意義と課題について考察した。その結果、Wikimedia Commonsをデジタルアーカイブプラットフォームとすることで、費用をかけない永続的なデジタルアーカイブをオープンデータとして実現した。そして、地域の歴史的音源の市民参加型のデジタルアーカイブ手法を提示した。さらに、歴史的音源のオープンデータデジタルアーカイブに際しては、歌唱者、演者も含めた著作権者全員の許諾とその手法の確立が必要であることが明らかとなった。

In this paper, through my experience of supporting the use of GLAM data in digital archives, I discussed the necessity and the methods of preserving and utilizing GLAM data by integrating geospatial information and GLAM data from the standpoint of geospatial information. In the future, GLAM data, including Japan Search, will require the development and refinement of location information metadata by GLAM institutions, the field of geographic information science, and citizen participation, such as the transfer of geocoding methods from addresses and the development of a WebGIS mechanism that allows location information metadata assignment. On the side of geographic information science, it is necessary to organize and provide bone digital geospatial information in terms of digital archiving.
