Attention toward active learning and usage of information and communication technology (ICT) is becoming more substantial in higher education. Hence, a new learning space to realize and establish such education environment is undertaken. The highly flexible spaces are developed to adopt today's diverse learning styles. However, the standard to rate more objective quality needs to be practiced in Japan. In this study, Learning Space Rating System (LSRS), developed for measuring the quality of learning spaces, has been translated into Japanese.
