This thesis draws varieties and diachronic transformations that hotel architectures in Tokyo had before the war, based on five keywords, "acceptance of foreigners in enclave", "symbol of modernization", "renaissance of Edo Meisho (notable sights in the Edo era)", "mature of civic life", "innovation and new style" applied to the development concepts in which the five social backgrounds were heavily involved.

In this paper, as for the mansions of modern Sukisha people who were widely present in Tokyo and extremely rose in bygone days as described above, the aim is to clarify aspects of the mansions that had been fostered in modern Tokyo, by providing the assessments considering the differences and trends arose by social backgrounds, times, and places and the practical matters concerning with building mansions as well as social positions, thought, and personality, et cetera of persons with multifaceted perspectives.

Darts is one of the most popular indoor sports played all over the world regardless of age or sex. Although darts includes a wide variety of games and millions of people play them today, so far there have not been a large number of studies that have tried to examine the strategic aspects of the games. This paper deals with cricket, which is a popular darts game played as frequently as an official game, 01, since strategies play an important role in addition to the skill level of a player in cricket. In this paper, focusing on a standard strategy that is used by a lot of players, we examine how effective the strategy is. For this purpose, we adopt the Monte Carlo simulation, based on an assumption that the gap between a targeted point and an actual hit point follows the two-dimensional Gaussian distribution.

Transport infrastructure is advanced, the more people who commute from the suburbs to the city office in central Tokyo. People are living by different living space and work space in general today. However, the factory area is formed in the town, Ota-ku, Tokyo, living called "industrial living hell" where-rooted. Industry in itself that the decline of small factories, taking advantage of the benefits of home and workplace are close to each other, the architecture proposed in the inheritance of the "way of living".

Charm of Shoin architecture in Korea is not only educational institutions of mere provinces. It was felt strongly when I visited for the first time Shoin architecture. Mountains towering behind the Shoin architecture, gently wrap us. River slowly flow, seems time has stopped. Its strange feeling, can not forget even now. By Feng Shui philosophy, humans and nature have to realize the harmony while keeping a good distance. In this paper it is in the background of the Shoin architecture, Feng Shui philosophy, and Confucianism, while considering the overwhelming nature and human relationships that exist in the underlying, I want to unravel the space philosophy of Shoin architecture.

Through the diachronic analysis from middle ages to modern ages, it is intended to reveal how Alsace had developed associated with waterways.

The purpose of this study is reveals urban structure of Osaka from sacred water sites. Urban development of Osaka is carried out by Hideyoshi Toyotomi which is closely tied with water or praying for water. In fact, there was certain urban planning related to topography and geology around Edo era. This planning was based on ancient sacred water sites. In addition, Hideyoshi Toyotomi shaped new city with sacred water sites as an axis. So, first I analyze genealogy of god in sacred water sites in Osaka. Then I pile up layers which made from this result, topography or geology on Hideyoshi’s urban planning in Osaka. Finally, from the new point of view, I interpret urban structure of Osaka.

It is widely known that it is difficult for the human eye to confirm and recognize the relationship between figure and ground within an image, thus becoming a big issue. Furthermore, it is very easy to find visual representations which make use of this relationship in our everyday life. However, sometimes we also get to see images in which making a differentiation between figure and ground becomes difficult to perform. In order to avoid this, in the present research we will set the purpose of experimenting and analyzing several relationships between figure and ground and finally show an easy to recognize standard.

In this research, I developed a drum stick device that can perform and practice with only shaking motion to solve the problem such as the noise and portability which the drum has. The sensor detects the swing and the direction of the stick and outputs the sound. Simultaneously with the sound, the actuator is activated to generate force feedback, thereby realizing a more realistic performance experience.

In outer space is a landscape architect Lawrence Halprin of America gave the "Movement" by way of description of the space MOTATION. In this study, we explored the characteristics of each space by applying a Chinese garden, French garden, Italian garden in the implementation MOTATION. And I can be divided into centripetal configuration and dynamic configuration of the garden that was analyzed.

In Wako-shi, Saitama, division maintenance before Kitaguchi Station is due to be carried out aiming at Heisei 32. Wako is called natural rich town. However, it can be said that there is no building which was conscious of nature in the building in front of Wako Station. Since Wako has the character as a bedroom suburb near the center of Tokyo, population is increasing it every year. It will be estimated if population continues to increase, and it is predicted that the rate of elderly people also increases in connection with it.
