従来, 降雪片の落下速度に関しては, 雪片含水率, 雪片密度, 雪片質量等をそれぞれ関数とする実験式等が発表されている.降雪時の電波減衰に関連しては, とくにミゾレ, 湿雪のような比較的高密度の雪片に対する落下速度が問題であるが, 雪片密度を関数とした実験式では雪片密度に制約があって, 高密度の雪片についての実測値との適合は無理であった.さきに, 筆者らは2台のカメラを用いて雪片の大きさと落下速度を直接同時に観測する方法を報告したが, この方法による実測データをもとに, 雪片等価半径と落下速度との関係について再考察を加え, さらに粉体工学的手法を参考にして粒子の抵抗係数とレイノルズ数の関係および粒子形状補正の考え方を導入して, 雪片密度に制限を設けることなしに新しい計算法をすすめた。その結果, 高密度雪片に対しても落下速度の実測値にかなり近い計算結果がえられ, 今後の研究の手がかりをうることができた.

Darts is one of the most popular indoor sports played all over the world regardless of age or sex. Although darts includes a wide variety of games and millions of people play them today, so far there have not been a large number of studies that have tried to examine the strategic aspects of the games. This paper deals with cricket, which is a popular darts game played as frequently as an official game, 01, since strategies play an important role in addition to the skill level of a player in cricket. In this paper, focusing on a standard strategy that is used by a lot of players, we examine how effective the strategy is. For this purpose, we adopt the Monte Carlo simulation, based on an assumption that the gap between a targeted point and an actual hit point follows the two-dimensional Gaussian distribution.

著者らは,看護コミュニケーション教育を支援する目的で,仮想病室に患者と看護実習生役のアバタを実装した身体的バーチャルコミュニケーションシステムを開発し,有効性を示した.本システムは,対話者のノンバーバル情報に基づいて対話者の化身であるアバタのノンバーバル行動を生成し,仮想病室で対話者相互のアバタのインタラクションを観察しながらコミュニケーションできるシステムである.5組10人の看護学生を対象に,システムを用いたロールプレイングによるコミュニケーション実験を行い,官能評価,自由記述内容の結果,「役になりきれた」「対話しやすさ」「システムを使用したい」などの項目で肯定的に評価され,看護学生同士の対面でのロールプレイングよりも有効であることが示された.患者体験ができ,役になりきることが可能なシステムであることが確認され,本システムによる新たな看護コミュニケーション教育支援の活用可能性が示された.

尾崎翠(一八九六―一九七一)のテクストでは、小説やエッセイ、詩や座談録といったジャンルを横断する形で、「チヤアリイ」ことチャールズ・チャップリンへの思慕というテーマが繰り返し表象されている。しかし、これらは従来の研究ではほとんど看過されており、充分な掘り下げがなされてこなかった。本稿は、短篇小説「木犀」(一九二九年)を中心に、その重要性に光を当てるものである。映画をめぐる尾崎の複数のエッセイの中で、「影」というキーワードが繰り返し登場する。「影」という言葉を用いて表象されているのは、映画などの媒体を通すことによって生じる一種の異世界の魅力であり、なおかつ、その中で生身の人間とは異なる異世界の存在として見えてくる人物像への強い関心である。「影の世界」に触れ、没入することによって自身の「心のはたらき方までも」が根本から影響を受けるという、単なる娯楽としての消費に留まらない映画鑑賞のあり方が語られる。また、チャップリンについても生身の俳優としてではなく、映画の幕の上の「影の男性」としての魅力が見出されている。以上を踏まえた上で、「木犀」の「私」の恋のあり方について考察を加えた。「木犀」の語り手である「私」は、学生時代の友人「N氏」からのプロポーズを退けたことで「淋しさ」を感じるが、映画館で観た「ゴオルドラツシユ」の「チヤアリイ」に対する好意を語る時にはじめて「恋してゐる」「愛してゐる」という言葉が用いられる。さらに、「私」が強く関心を示しているのは、億万長者となり恋人を得るハッピーエンドを迎えた成功者としての「チヤアリイ」ではなく、むしろその途上における「孤独な彷徨者」に対してである。その上で、彼の姿に「淋しさ」を見出して共鳴を示す「私」自身もまた、「孤独な彷徨者」の性質をそなえた人物であることを指摘した。また、映画が上映終了となった後、「私」は眼前にありありと「チヤアリイ」を思い描き、幻想上の会話を交わしている。ここに表象されるイメージは、映画「ゴオルドラツシユ」のチャップリンのイメージを借用・変形することによって表現された「私」の分身であり、「私」の〈内なる男性像〉の具現化であると、後続の尾崎翠テクストとのテーマの連続性に言及しつつ結論づける。In the texts of Midori Osaki (1896–1971), the recurrent theme of her admiration for Charles Chaplin or “Charlie” appears across her works such as in novels, essays, poetry and records of dialogues. However, this theme has been largely overlooked in previous studies and has not been explored in depth. This article focuses on the theme by making reference to one of her short stories titled Mokusei (Osmanthus fragrans) (1929) and sheds light on its importance.In some of Osaki’s essays on films, the word “shadow” appears repeatedly. This word suggests a sort of otherworldly fascination that emerges from a medium such as film, and her strong interest in the characters who appear in films as otherworldly beings different from actual human beings. She says movie watching is more than mere entertainment. When watching a film, she touches and is absorbed into the “world of shadow”, and even her way of thinking is influenced. Osaki finds Chaplin attractive as a “man of shadow” in a film rather than an actual human being. In light of the above, the author discusses what “I” is and what “my” love is in Mokusei.While “I”, the narrator of Mokusei, feels “loneliness” after declining a marriage proposal from N, a friend from her school days, she says “I am in love” and “I love you” for the first time when she talks about her fondness for Charlie in The Gold Rush, which she saw in the theater.The narrator is more interested in Charlie as a lonely wanderer than Charlie as a successful man who becomes a millionaire and has a happy ending with his lover in the film. The author points that “I”, the narrator, who finds “loneliness” in him and has sympathy for him, is also a person who may be characterized as a “lonely wanderer”.After the film, the narrator has an imaginary conversation with Charlie with a vivid image of Charlie in herself. The author, based on the thematic continuity in Osaki’s subsequent texts, concludes that the image represented in this novel is an alter ego of the narrator, borrowed and transformed from Chaplin’s image in the film The Gold Rush, and is an embodied “male model” in her mind.

本研究の目的は,認知症高齢者の血液透析導入後の生活を支える家族がどのような体験をしているかを明らかにすることである.血液透析に通う認知症高齢者の家族7人を対象に半構成的面接を実施し,質的記述的に分析した.その結果,【忘れてしまう注意点に配慮する】【透析を受けることの難しさにつきあう】【透析導入前からの楽しむ力を維持する】【言葉で表せない透析による身体の不調を察し対応する】【葛藤した透析の導入を前向きにとらえられる】の5つのカテゴリーが抽出された.家族は,認知症高齢者の言動に苦心しながらも,その人に合わせた日常生活や体調の管理,透析を受ける手助けをしていることが明らかになった.看護者は,できる限り早期に,家族が認知症高齢者との生活を整えられるよう支援することが必要と考える.また,認知症高齢者のもつ力を尊重している家族を認め,透析の導入を肯定的に受け止められるように関わることが大切と考える.

Photographic sensitive layer should produce sufficient density with the least layer thickness. In order to satisf y this demand, gelatin must retain as much silver halide as possible dispersed in the emulsion. The limit of silver halide, dispersed colloidally without sedimentation, in a given quantity of gelatin may vary with gelatins.The authors propose “colloidal retentivity” as a measure of this protective colloid power of gelatin against silver halide in the photographic emulsion. Colloidal retentivity is so defined as to show 100% when emulsion grains are well dispersed without sedimentation, while the more sedimentation, the les colloidal retentivity.Two methods of the measurment of colloidal retentivity are introduced.Colloidal retentivity as depending on the ripening temperature, rotation speed of a stirrer, silverhalidegelatin ratio and gelatin characteristics are studied.Colloidal retentivity brings different information about the ripening as compared with the turbidity measurment. Colloidal retentivity during the ripening passes maximum and minimum points while turbidity increases monotonously.The graingrowth mechanism is discussed on these results.

表情の中の微笑みや視線などの非言語メッセージは,看護コミュニケーションにおいて重要な役割を果たしている.これまで,アバタを介した看護コミュニケーション教育支援システムを開発したが,アバタの視線や表情に関する表現性の課題が残された.本論文では,アバタに微笑みと眼球動作モデルを付加した看護コミュニケーション教育支援システムを開発し,システムの活用可能性を検証する目的で,ロールプレイングによるコミュニケーション実験を行った.実験用のシステムモードとして【A:真顔のみ】,【B:微笑み+眼球動作無し】,【C:微笑み+眼球動作有り】の3つのモードを用意した.実験の結果,システムのモードとしては,微笑みと眼球動作のあるCモードが最も高く評価された.自由記述においてもコミュニケーション時の表情や視線が与える効果に気づく意見が多くみられ,本システムによる看護コミュニケーション教育支援の有効性が示された.

A 52-year-old male was found to have fever and complained of myalgia and joint pain.<BR>On physical examination by admission, his blood pressure was 128/68 mmHg, pulse 66 per minute, regular, temperature 38.5&deg;C. The patient was pale and appeared chronically ill. Bilateral temporal arteries were extended and moderately tender by percussion. Cardiac dulness was normal and heart sound was clear. Liver and spleen were not palpable. Muscles of extremities were slightly atrophic. Raynaud's phenomen negative. Purpuras on backs of feet were noticed. ECG showed normal sinus rhythm, no axis deviation, ST, T waves normal. X-ray of chest normal.<BR>At 2 weeks after admission, he had been noticed his blood pressure was elevated (BP 210/100 mmHg) and abdominal bruit audible. Following comfirming of polyarteritis nodosa by muscle biopsy of right quadriceps, steroid therapy bigan. On the 26th hospital day, suddenly he experienced severe pain in left hypochondrium which radiated into the back. He was explored surgically because the pain was persistent and anemia revealed progressively.<BR>Retroperitoneal hematoma was found along abdominal aorta and left kidney with subcapular bleeding enlarged as child's head sized but could not be removed because his general condition got worse. Peripheral plasma renin activity (PRA) on restricted salt intake (5g/day) while the patient kept in supine position was 11.9 ng/ml/h, renal vein renin analysis was as follows; r-renal vein 12.1 ng/ml/h, 1-renal vein 14.2 ng/ml/h, upper IVC 12.1 ng/ml/h, lower IVC 8.3 ng/ml/h. Angiotensin II analogue test was carried out using in-fusion of 1-Sarcosine 8-Isoleucine Angiotensin II. Blood pressure before test was 180/130 mmHg and reduced to 130/100 mmHg at 20 minutes after the biginning of infusion at the rate 300 ng/kg/min.. The blood pressure rose gradually to control level over subsequent one hour after the cessation of angiotensin II analogue. PRA level was 8.4 ng/ml/h before administration of angiotensin II analogue and similar value during infusion, then 8.7 ng/ml/h at 110 minutes after cessation of the infusion.

Recent progress in regioselective carbon-carbon bond forming reactions involving “ambident substrates” has been reviewed with 308 selected references. This article is divided into two parts, Part 1 concerns the reactions of ambident nucleophiles which mainly include the di-anions of enolates and the asymmetric allylic carbanions. Part 2 involves the reactions of ambident electrophiles which are represented by α, β-unsaturated carbonyl systems, the SN 2' reactions of allylic alcohol derivatives and the epoxy compounds containing a nucleophile in the same molecule. Some plausible explanations and controlling factors of these regioselectivities are summarized.

本研究は,高齢慢性心不全患者が日常生活において心不全に伴う身体変化をどのように自覚しているのかを明らかにすることを目的とした.対象は,慢性心不全と診断され入院または外来通院している高齢者11人として半構成的面接を行いデータ収集し,質的記述的に分析した.高齢患者は,【変化速度の緩急】【体の制御感の喪失】【自己調整できる苦しさ】【自分のありたい姿との調和】【忘れられない極限の体験からの予見】【独特な身体感覚】【客観視された情報による気づき】によって自己の身体変化を自覚していた.患者は,自分の身体を知ろうと模索し感じとった身体変化を特有な表現で他者に伝えることや,自己調整できる苦しさであるという自覚によって対処が遅れる可能性を抱えていた.患者の感じている身体変化を看護師が理解するためには,患者が感じたままに表現できる場を設け,患者の身体に対する期待や理想,日常生活のなかで感じる不都合さ,忘れられない極限の体験を手がかりとして思いを聞くことが有効である.

生体のin vivo(生きたままでの)電子常磁性共鳴(EPR)計測、とりわけラットのホールボディ計測の実現を目標として、350MHzパルスEPR装置の開発を行った。本研究で得られた成果をまとめると次の様になる。(1) 数値解析により、最適なパルス幅と共振器の共振尖鋭度Qは、緩和時定数T_2=10〜100nsの生体ラジカルに対して夫々10〜68ns、10〜60、T_2=100〜800nsの固体のラジカルに対して夫々68〜158ns、60〜280であることが分かった。(2) 試作した350MHzパルスEPR装置を用いて、γ線照射クオーツ粉末37.5gの電子スピンエコー(ESE)信号の受信に成功した。受信信号電圧はパルス間隔が1400〜1600nsにおいて3〜5mVであった。(3) 本研究で得たESE信号から、γ線照射クオーツの緩和時定数はT_2=778nsと推定される。これは我々の研究室で既に開発した1.3GHzパルスEPR装置による測定結果T_2=759nsに極めて近い値である。(4) 生体計測を行うために、今後共振器のQを更に下げる必要がある。

本研究の目的は,介護老人保健施設における高齢者のライフストーリーをケアスタッフが聴き取ることを通して,ケアスタッフの高齢者およびケアに対する認識がどのように変化するのかを明らかにすることである.対象は,受け持ち高齢者とライフストーリー面談を実施したケアスタッフ8名で,非指示的インタビューによってデータ収集し,ケアスタッフの変化をあらわしている特徴的な発言内容をカテゴリー化し,カテゴリー間の関係性を検討した.ケアスタッフの変化は6つのカテゴリーに分類され, 《その人がよくわかる》ことによって,《その人への関心が高まる》という変化が生じていた.ライフストーリーを聴くという関係性が成立した体験はケアスタッフの《自信が深まる》という変化をもたらし,ケアが《丁寧な関わりになる》と認識され,《他の高齢者に対する認識が変わる》ことにもつながっていた.ライフストーリー面談を通して《関わることの楽しさ・喜びを実感する》ことは,これらの変化を生み出す基盤になっていると考えられた.

Selection process and main characters of two strains selected for direct planting were described. Chugoku 18 and Chugoku 25, which are different in root type, root size and growth habit, would provide new point of view in the direct planting cultivation of sweet potato.
