Educator sexual misconducts are problematic issues also in Japan. To clarify educator sexual misconducts to adults in Japan, text mining was conducted on text data of 608 news articles. Cluster analysis extracted seven types/subtypes of sexual misconduct: (1) camera/video voyeurism (indoor), (2) camera/video voyeurism (upskirting), (3) sexual exhibitionism, (4) pervasive sexual contact (outdoor), (5) pervasive sexual contact to other educators, (6) stalking, (7) trespassing and/or stealing underwear. Correspondent analysis found four dimensions: (1) visual orientation/subjectivity (voyeurism-exhibitionism), (2) physical closeness, (3) indoor-outdoor, (4) relational closeness. Further analysis revealed that using mobile devices was associated with voyeurism and stalking and drinking alcohol with pervasive sexual contacts. These results suggested that conduct rules for educators and candidates should be re-recognized through interventions and educations.
