In order to clarify the influence of forms of brassieres on beauty of clothing bust silhouettes, a visual impression of the bust clothing silhouette formed by C70 size brassieres in wearing under clothes was studied. Subjects (female college students) wore twenty-three types of brassieres (limited to C70 size) with different cup shapes under a pullover (of knit material) and their digital images of front, 45°-angled and side views were photographed. Then these images were evaluated by visual sensation of female college students using SD (semantic differential) method. As the result, the concept of "beautiful bust clothing silhouette" was able to be defined by a silhouette that has round, soft, natural and feminine feelings, without wrinkles on clothes and not showing the shape or line of the brassieres through the outer clothing; for example, the unevenness of the lace and seam. And it was found that the ideal shape of the cup is a three quarter cup consisting of seamless or three pieces (3 <I>mai-hagi</I>).

This study tries to reveal how types of consumer benefits influence on brand personality of women's lingerie brand. As consumer benefit is one of the key factors of brand knowledge, it is assumed that the type of that has influence on brand personality which is the whole picture of how consumers perceive the consumer-brand relationships. In order to investigate above assumption, survey results are analyzed. This survey is conducted and asked about brand attitude, benefit, brand personality and corporate image of women's lingerie manufacturers.

To obtain fundamental knowledge for improving the beauty of tights of flesh color types, we conductedmeasurements of SD method for visual impression and of optical properties including color, transparency, and distribution of step-luminance using three kinds of pantyhose, sheer, kohhen, and zokki, which differ in yarn structure, and three kinds of tights which differ in yarn thickness as samples.Two experiments were conducted, the one is individual wearing experiments that a subject wear only a pantyhose or a tights individually, and the other is superimposed wearing experiments that a subject superimpose a pantyhose on a tights.The obtained results are as follows : In the individual wearing experiments, pantyhose was beautiful but tights used in this experiments was not beautiful, especially sheer pantyhose was most beautiful among the three kinds of pantyhose.In the superimposed wearing experiments, when a zokki pantyhose superimposed on a tights, they obtained good glossy feeling.There were no difference between pantyhose and tights in color value and transparency.There were difference between the individual wearing and the superimposed wearing in the photographs and graphs of the distribution of step-luminance.
