筆者らは、放送大学教養学部の授業科目「情報技術と社会('05)」を2004年度1年間をかけて収録した。この授業は2005年度から4年間放送され、数千人の登録学生が放送講義を視聴して、印刷教材を読んで、単位認定試験に取り組む。本発表では、実際の収録の過程を振り返りながら、このような放送講義では何ができるのか、何ができないのかについて述べる。また、入学試験が存在しない放送大学において単位認定が持つ機能と意味について考察を行なう。We produced a subject "Information and Communication technologies and Society" at The University of The Air school. In this report, we describe the process of the production we experienced. We report what we can do and what we cannot do in this broadcasting lecture. We will talk about the function and the meaning of the unit recognition in The University of the Air which does not have the system of entrance exam.
