本論文では,Web上のリンク先の情報の鮮度が直感的に分かる情報視覚化システム「廃れるリンク」を提案する.実世界のモノは古くなると徐々に外見的に廃れていき,一目で鮮度が判別できる.廃れるリンクはこうした実世界の「モノが廃れる」メタファをWebページに適用し,リンク先のページの鮮度に応じてリンクが「廃れていく」視覚化効果を与えるシステムである.本システムを利用すれば,ユーザはリンクの鮮度を一目で判断し,より効率的にWebを閲覧できる.In this paper,we propose a new information visualization system called the Dying Link,that can help users intuitively tell the freshness of linked information in a web page.Many real-world objects change their appearances through ages,and we can see how old they are simply by glancing at them.We applied the metaphor that ``old object become worn in the real-world'' to a web page and developed Dying Link system that adds aging visualization to links in the page according to how old the linked pages are.Using our system, users can easily tell how fresh the linked pages are,only by glancing at the appearances of the links in a web page for efficient web browsing.
