"SSM で使われるリッチピクチャは,多視点から対象システムの問題状況を記述する.リッチピクチャの書き方について明確な規定はなく,できるだけ言葉を使わないように推奨されるだけである.したがって,その図が問題状況を書き切れているかどうかの判断は,その参加者が納得するかだけである.一方,因果ループ図は対象システムの動的性格を記述するが,その重要変数を何にするかが恣意的に決められる.そのため,両図が,同じシステムの異なる側面を記述しているかどうかもわからない.ここで,リッチピクチャに記述した行為者とその間の関わりを計量可能な値の流れを記述し,これを因果ループ図の重要変数として記述することで,システムの問題状況を書く.同時に,相互の書ききれない部分が発見できることで,さらに深い状況の記述が可能になる."Rich-picture and causal-loop diagram are often used to depict the problematic situation of Human Activity Systems. By using a rich-picture, one can depict the relationships and connections among entities but not the dynamism of the system. When using a causal-loop diagram, it is difficult to identify the important variables describing the systems dynamics. This report proposes the use of a rich-picture to describe entities as various actors com-posing the system. The idea allows us to depict the value-flows among actors and identify the important variables for depicting in a causal-loop diagram, to avoid selecting important variables arbitrarily, and to observe the cause-and-effect structure by identifying relationships and value-flows not seen in rich-picture, as well as to depict rich-pictures more vividly.
