この論文は、比較文学の視点から「禅」と「ユーモア」に焦点をあてR.H. ブライスの英語による川柳の翻訳を考察したものである。戦前までの川柳の英語による翻訳の系譜を辿り、戦後のブライスの川柳の翻訳が、それ以前の日本人による翻訳とどのように違うのかを原句と比較しながら、考察した。形式の面では、ブライスの川柳の翻訳は、俳句の翻訳と同様に三行形式で訳されている点に特色がある。ブライスの俳句や川柳の翻訳には、「禅は詩」であり、「禅はユーモア」であるという視点が強くあらわれている。ブライスは、俳句の翻訳を通して「禅は詩」であるという視点を表明し、川柳の翻訳を通して「禅はユーモア」であることを明らかにしている。ブライスにとって〈禅と詩とユーモア〉は三位一体のものなのである。韻律の面では、ブライスの翻訳は川柳も俳句も17音よりも短い音数で創作されている。翻訳に用いられる言葉は、口語的な表現が使われ、詩的な技法には、擬人法やメタファー(暗喩)などが用いられている。ブライスは、日本人以上に川柳という文芸を俳句と対等に論じ、両者の相違点を理解した禅の実践者であり、比較文学の視点を身につけた、日本と西洋の融合文化を実践した国際人であったと結論づけることができる。 Mark’s House near the Tor Road in Kobe.With the arrival of the American occupation forces, Blyth was freed and was able to play a significant part in the peace process, to the benefit of Japan. After the war, he and Harold G. Henderson(1889-1974) were prominent go-betweens in the cause of peace between Japan and the Allies.Henderson, also, a haiku scholar, was on the staff of General Mac Arthur’s GHQ. Blyth went to see him, and learnt that Mac Arthur wanted to close down Gakushuin University.Blyth persuaded him to let it continue, opening it to the general public. Blyth began teaching at Gakushuin University after the war. At the same time, Blyth became private tutor to the Crown Prince Akihito, and was to say that the Prince was the pupil he taught longest.Blyth’s first book, Zen in English Literature and Oriental Classics was published in 1942 in the midst of the war. In the prison Blyth went on to write parts of the volumes on Haiku and Senryu.The first editions of Blyth’s four volumes of Haiku tranlations and commentaries, published between 1949 and 1952 by Hokuseido. He wrote assiduously: Senryu (1949), Japanese Humour (1954), Oriental Humour (1959), Japanese Life and Character in Senryu (1961) and so on.Blyth demonstrated that Zen is poetry through English translations of Haiku and Zen is humour through English translations of Senryu.A feature of Zen and Humour are admitted on the translations of Blyth’s Haiku and Senryu through in these works.The question whether Senryu is poetry or not has been debated by Japanese critics ever since the inception of Senryu.If it were accepted that Haiku is poetry, it would not be difficult to prove that Senryu is poetry.I conclude that Blyth was a cosmopolitan who practiced the Zen Buddhism and harmony & combination of cultures from a comparative point of view.

本稿では、大学教授がその使用者から命じられた配置転換命令を拒否したことを理由として、解雇処分を受けたことにつき、同人が解雇無効に係る確認訴訟を提起した事案について検討を図り、配転命令権の合理的範囲を研究するものである。This paper, as reason and that the professor of the University has refused to duties instructions that are instructions from the university, since dismissed, is intended to examine the cases that statute of limitations in search of confirmation such as invalid dismissal the university as the other party.

教科書の補足に大学のGoogle サイトにWebページで制作したWebテキストを用いてハイブリッドな授業を行った。その結果、以下の事が判った。受講生のWebテキストへの評価は良好である。特に、「いつでも、家でも、何度でも、自分のペースで見る事が出来る」事を評価している。そして、授業はWebテキストだけでも良いと認めている。授業が難しいと感じている受講生は、Webテキストがとても良いと感じている。しかし、課題量が多いと感じている受講生は、Webテキストがそれ程良いとは感じておらず、課題点も良くない。従って、Webテキストで、WORD文書の編集機能と課題の説明をより充実させる事が求められている。以上の結果から、Webテキストの利用は学生にも好評で、その内容をより充実させればより大きな効果が得られる事が判った。A hybrid class is performed by using a Web-text for the supplement of the textbookwhich is maked by the Web-page on the Google-site of our university. As the results, the follows are resolved. The evaluation of students about the Web-text is good. Especially,it is recognized that the Web-text is able to be looked again and again anytime at own pace, also in each home by them. And, they recognize that it is enough for the class to use only the Web-text. The student who feels that the class is difficult also feels that theWeb-text is very good. But, the student who feels that there is much quantity of problemdoes not feel the same, and, can not get good results.So, further more explanations in the details about the editing functions of the WORD document and about the problems are required in the Web-text. From the above results, it is resolved that the use of the Webtextis popular with my students and a bigger effect will be provided, if the contents ofthe Web-text are developed more.
