This paper addresses the issue of the education for international understanding through a case of "Teddy. Bear Project" between Mitsujyou Elementary School in Japan and Elmhurst Elementary School in North Carolina in U.S.A. Children of each partner school exchanged a "Teddy Bear" and they wrote a diary from the bear's viewpoints. Our results based on children's descriptions in their dairies suggest that this project can promote education for international understanding, especially understanding of their own culture, understanding of their identities and their self esteem. The "Teddy Bear Project" was found to be very successful in to enhancing understanding and acceptance of diverse cultures.

A Purpose of this paper is to suggest a necessity of construction of economic education for teachers training courses. This acquisition of the teachers' licenses of social studies in junior high school and civics in high school is possibility to study only one course on economics in current law. TO train high quality teachers, this paper emphasizes a teaching method to make understanding on the monopoly as the principle of three equivalence of national income.

We can hardly say that art education in Japan as it is justifiably evaluated. At the same time, it would be regrettably true to say that we can observe very few practices of art education worthy of justifiable evaluation.In the present art education, we can recognize many situations where teachers either stick to the traditional view of art education or they never challenge the ways of art education based upon their personal experiences.Under these circumstances, at present, the authors are declaring the idea of three-H's (Heart, Head, and Hand) approach to art education as a way of defining the appropriate state of art education.The present article aims to give a general idea about three-H's approach to art education and to introduce its concrete procedure by citing a sample classroom lesson.

The on-site training for high-school students in the Takehara Marine Science Station of Hiroshima University roused their interest of the sea. Especially, anatomy of fishes, animal collections from the uninhabited island, and generating experiment of sea urchin were the most popular among students. As a result of this training, understanding and the interest of marine organisms and environments in almost all students have increased, so the on-site training might be effective in the prevention of high school student's losing interests in science.
