This document describes several topics on research into artifact from the perspective of deep learning. We first introduce the high-dimensional science proposed by Maruyama. Then, we explain the current research on model-based and model-free reinforcement learning, its integration, and world models. Then we bring the discussion by Yoshikawa about the academic domains and design. All the discussion is based on how the phenomenon is models either by a large number of parameters, or a small number of parameters which human can understand. Finally we discuss how the large-parameter models can be used in our society.

This research is focused on the random type item providing system called “Gacha ” in the social game of the smartphone application. Gacha includes gambling elements and has caused many problems like too much charge, not available rare items and so on. In order to protect users from these problems, Gacha in online games has become mandatory in 2016 to disclose information such as provision probability. Based on question-naires, this study analyzed whether this disclosed information is expected to have the effect of suppressing ex-cessive charging.

National Statistics Center has started the initiative in promoting statistical literacy with a framework including a series of 3 activities since 2018. These activities are developing and disseminating SSDSE (Standardized Statistical Data Set for Education), preparing educational materials using the SSDSE, and holding an annual data analysis competition which also uses the SSDSE. This framework has potential to promote the use of official statistics, to make chances discovering interests in data analysis, and to rise positive attitudes to learn.

The gender gap in the STEM fields is a global phenomenon and a social problem that should not be overlooked. One of the factors is the existence of sexism in the educational setting of the STEM fields. In particular, the impact of Ambivalent Sexism has become clearer through a few insightful studies within the U.S. context. This article aims to introduce those key researches and discuss possible implications and suggestions for the educational setting in Japan.

Although it has been a long time since women's interest in the science field has been increasing, the reality is that there is a big bias in the ratio of Japanese students who choose a career in science. Therefore, we analyze the characteristics of interviews with women who have actually entered the science field and found employment to examine important factors in science education for female students.

As the shortage of human resources in Gotanda Valley is an issue, and in order to improve the recruitment status in Gotanda Valley, IT engineers will be matched with companies by introducing the Gotanda Valley human resource sharing business model.
