At present, there are many devastated mountains in Greece. Soil loss from this area is a serious problem in terms of national land safeguard. Under such a condition, dams are being established in some places in order to meet the increasing demand of water and to control flood. However, it is pointed out that there is a dangerous possibility that the dams may be stuck with much eroded soil running from upper part of stream. We, together with cooperating researches of Aristoteles University and Ministry of Agriculture Forest Research Insitute in Greece, are continuing our study so as to clarify the causes of mountain devastation and establish the measures for devastation prevention. In 1984, we started our research with the help of Japan Society for Promotion of Science and plan to finish it within two or three years.This report is based on the first field survey held in Oct. 1984 and is a summary of overall view of devastated mountain and results of measurement on infiltration capacity and analyzing of some soil erodibilities in ten survey areas. In each survey area of different cover condition, infiltration capacity was measured by the simple inf iltrometer of tube type and soil . hardness by Yamanka's penetrometer under the naturally undisturbed condition. We analyzed some other erodibilities such as erosion ratio and dispersion ratio of the sampling soils in 0-5cm depth. These erodibility indexes are higher especially on bare land where goats are trampling and in man-made pine forest (Pinus halepensis Miller etc.) than in naturaloak (Quercus: pubescens Willd etc.) and fir (Abies cephalonica Loundon etc.).In the survey of this time. we could not clarify the followings; relation to causes and effects of mountain devastation phenomenon, confirmation of changing process on devastation condition and grasping of exact sediment yield from denuded area. Therefore, we are planning to survey these three points neyt time.

現行法の親権規定では、離婚の際に夫婦のいずれかが未成年の子の親権者となる。近年の離婚の増加にともない、ひとり親世帯が増えている。また、現在は妻の方が未成年の子の親権者となる割合が増加し、全体の約8割を占める。しかも、母子世帯の置かれている社会的・経済的状況は厳しく、子どもたちのこうむる被害も増大しつつある。そこで、この研究ノートでは、子どもの福祉を重んじる立場から、この被害の現状とこれを克服するための方策を論じる前段階として、民法の親権規定の変遷の歴史を簡潔に整理したいと考える。日本近代の親族法は西洋の法制度の影響下に成立してきたので、第1章では、西洋における親権概念の歴史を概観し、第2章においては、日本の親権規定の変遷とその背景について考察する。最終章では、日本における親権規定の現状と改革に向けての動向を紹介して、今後の研究へつなげていくことにしたい。

本研究は,「ある土地において信仰上の重要な役割をもつ神社は,自然災害発生時においても安全性を担保しうる立地特性を有している」という仮説にもとづいて,和歌山県下の398社の神社を対象に,その自然災害リスクのポテンシャルを検証することを目的としている.GISを用いて,津波,河川氾濫,土砂災害のそれぞれのリスクと神社との立地の関係を分析した結果,和歌山の土地に深いルーツを持つイソタケル系神社,熊野系神社,王子系神社の多くは,自然災害に対してのリスク回避性が高い立地であることを明らかにした.

Objective The stress brought on by changes in social conditions due to COVID-19 is diverse. However, there have been no studies examining the relationship between the type of stress felt by an individual due to such changes in social conditions and the degree of change in HbA1c, prompting us to conduct this study. Methods We conducted a collaborative study at two diabetes clinics. A total of 1,000 subjects responded to the questionnaire. Data on HbA1c and body weight before and after the declaration of the state of emergency were collected. Results We conducted a questionnaire on some stressors, but when comparing the two groups with respect to whether or not they felt stress from each item, only "school closures for children," seemed to be associated with a significant difference in the amount of change in HbA1c. In the stressed group, i.e. the group of parents who experienced stress due to their children's schools being closed, the HbA1c value changed from 7.30±0.78 to 7.30±1.13 (p=0.985). By contrast, in the unstressed group, the HbA1c value significantly decreased from 7.28±0.98 to 7.06±0.85 (p<0.001). In addition, as a result of comparing the amount of change between the 2 groups, a significant decrease was observed in the unstressed group compared with the stressed group (p=0.032). There was no significant difference in body weight change between the two groups. Conclusion Stress that cannot be avoided by one's own will, such as school closures for children, may affect glycemic control.

In this paper, we propose a technique for automatic generation of pixel art from character images based on color-difference tolerance. Pixel art is one of image expressions for digital images and is based on the pixel level. Character images that are expressed by pixel art are composed of edge lines and a few colors. The proposed technique is for automatically generating pixel art from a photograph where there was only a single object. However, in the conventional method, it is difficult to determine several parameters of edge detection and decrease color for automatic generation of pixel art. In this paper, to create the optimal decreased color image for each target image, we propose a clustering method using a maximum distance algorithm (MDA) based on the human color-difference tolerance. Moreover, the complete automation of making pixel art is achieved by using the result obtained by clustering using the MDA for the threshold decision of the Canny edge detector. As a result, it is shown that several optimum parameters for pixel art are obtained by using the proposed method.
