A novel expresses a world as a model with concrete and universal descriptions, which includes expressions of landscapes. In this study, we analyze fifty-five novels which won Akutagawa Literary Prize from 1970 to 1994, to understand images of landscapes in recent years. Landscapes in the text are categorized into nine items and understood with stages of stories and periods. First, they are grasped quantitatively by the level of words. Then, reading stories around the words lead us to understand the meaning of items of the landscapes. As the results, after high economical growth, landscapes and their meanings decrease such as mountains as boundaries, rivers with plays, hills for understanding oneself relatively in the town and fields viewed on one's ways. Landscapes such as flowers, woods and skies which have been still left become to get more meanings.

Principal component analysis(PCA) has been used in Architectural Planning and Urban Planning. However, PCA can not always project the feature of samples onto low dimensional space. Therefore another mapping technic should be desired in the field. In this article, non-linear mapping (NLM) is employed to make an image map of a novel, 'Industrial Complex with Time Slip,' written by Yoriko SHOUNO. PCA is also employed tocompare the maps each other. Meaning of the city is read by chasing the locus of scenes in the NLM map. Then it can be said that the NLM map is an image map of the city.

【目的】全国の不妊クリニックを対象に、不妊治療における鍼灸の認識やその導入の実態を明らかにし、今後の不妊鍼灸における問題点を考察する。 【対象と方法】2015年9月現在、(公社)日本産科婦人科学会ホームページ上で「体外受精・胚移植の臨床実施に関する登録施設」、「ヒト胚および卵子の凍結保存と移植に関する登録施設」、「顕微授精に関する登録施設」の全てに該当する547施設を対象に、郵送による無記名のアンケート調査を行った。 【結果】有効回収率は28.5% (156/547通) で、回答者の82.7%を医師が占めた。不妊治療における鍼灸は55.1%で認知されていた。しかし、実際に鍼灸を導入している施設は8.3%で、72.0%では今後も導入予定はなかった。鍼灸を導入している施設は婦人科医院が最も多く、鍼灸導入状況と病院形態に関連性がみられた(p=0.037)。また、鍼灸導入と情報源の有無には関連性がみられた(p=0.0009)。鍼灸の導入目的には、「精神的ストレスの緩和」が75.9%と最多であったが、導入しない理由としては、「鍼灸治療に十分なエビデンスがあると感じられないため」が59.3%と多かった。 【結論】現在、鍼灸を導入しているクリニックは少数であるが、今後、比較研究などエビデンスに基づいた、医師や患者にも分かりやすい鍼灸治療の有効性を示す必要があると考えられた。また、鍼灸師が他の医療従事者と同等のレベルで不妊治療について意見・情報交換ができるようになれば、クリニック内での導入や、クリニックと提携して治療を行う鍼灸院が増える可能性があり、鍼灸師のレベル向上が求められる。

Researches on spatial images in words are synthesized to understand their present condition and analysis methods. Seventy papers are categorized into the three fields; 1) history of architecture 2) architectural space 3) urban and rural space. Then, in each of the fields, their purposes and texts and the methods used for their analyses are examined. And the difference of the style of texts are understood to think about the difference of the methods and their developing processes. In conclusion, methods of researches on spatial image in words are influenced by the style of texts. Researches have abilities to advance in comparative studies and interdisciplinary fields.
