The purposes of this study were to evaluate the evidence of spa therapy, as well as spa effects, on health promotion, and to discuss the proper applications of spa to leisure activities that are focused on fitness. A relatively small number of highly evidence-graded studies, such as randomized controlled trials (RCTs), were identified from a literature search, and many had problems in methodology. Results showed that aquatic exercises conducted in hot water, including hot spa, obviously alleviated pain in locomotorium diseases. However, few RCTs are currently available concerning other diseases, and consequently, there is no evidence on aquatic exercise efficacy in those diseases. An increasing number of people enjoy leisure activities, particularly hot spa bathing, primarily for fitness. Obviously, hot spa has pain-relieving effects on locomotorium diseases, which are prevalent in middle-aged or elderly people. Therefore, hot spa bathing, as well as a change of air, and other complex factors associated with hot spa visits, are expected to promote health. It is hoped that people will learn more about hot spa, and enjoy it as a regular leisure activity.

Nurse scheduling problem (NSP) is one of the most popular constraint satisfaction problems and its importance is very high to maintain high quality medical services and avoid staff's work overload in real world. Even though there are some commercial scheduling software for calculating optimal assignment of shifts and holidays to nurses, these haven't met user's demand yet in the points of computational time and diversity of candidate schedulings. Since it is widely known that the constraints of NSP can be categorized into two main types; nursing quality and staff's quality of life, NSP can be treated as two-objective optimization problem. In this paper, a new approach for NSP is proposed. The proposed approach is based on evolutionary multi-criterion optimization (EMO) and its main features are high search performance and derivation of plural different candidate solutions. This research is collaboration with System Bank Co.,Ltd. and its mission is to improve an existing optimization engine.To investigate the characteristics and effectiveness of the proposed approach, the proposed is applied to three different benchmark problems which have characters and difficulty levels. The results of numerical examples provided that the performance of the proposed approach is overwhelming in comparison with the existing engine in every problems. Also, each mechanism's works of the proposed approach can be apparent through numerical examples.

投影方向の限定されたコンピュータトモグラフィ (Computed Tomography, CT) である少数投影 CT は逆問題の 1 種であり,欠損情報を推定することにより内部画像の再構成を行う.本研究では,この問題に対して GS アルゴリズム (Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm) と進化型多目的最適化手法 (Evolutionary Multi-criterion Optimization, EMO) を組み合わせた新たな手法を提案する.これは解の一意性が保証されず,実空間・逆空間の双方の空間において拘束条件が存在する少数投影 CT に対して,多点に基づく多目的の枠組みで最適化を行う EMO が親和的に機能すると考えられるからである.本研究では,上記の提案手法を用いて性質と解像度の異なる 3 種類の画像に対して数値実験を行ない,その有効性を検証した.

<p>In this paper, a new local search approach using a search history in evolutionary multi-criterion optimization (EMO) is proposed. This approach was designed by two opposite mechanisms (escaping from local optima and convergence search) and assumed to incorporate these into an usual EMO algorithm for strengthening its search ability. The main feature of this approach is to perform a high efficient search by changing these mechanisms according to the search condition. If the search situation seems to be stagnated, escape mechanism would be applied for shifting search point from this one to another one. On the other hand, if it observes no sign of the improvement of solutions after repeating this escape mechanism for a fixed period, convergence mechanism is applied to improve the quality of solution through an intensive local search. This paper presents a new approach, called "escaping from local optima and convergence mechanisms based on search history - SPLASH -". Experimental results showed the effectiveness of SPLASH and the workings of SPLASH's two mechanisms using WFG test suites.</p>

本研究課題では,情報量を基盤とした位相回復法の理論構築・解析を行い,さらに,非周期的な物質構造の解析に貢献するために,回折パターンからの高効率な物質構造復元手法の確立を目的とし,情報数理による位相回復法を対象とした基礎理論と応用研究を行うことである.位相問題において,不完全な実・逆空間の拘束条件が与えられた場合には,実像となる解の不定性や収束に至らない不安定性がある.このような不定な条件のもとでは,弱い意味での位相回復解を求めていく必要がある.そこで,実空間における弱解群の分布を求めることで,その解集合の性質を明らかにした.逆空間における不完全さとしての条件として,量子ノイズを含む回折パターンに着目した.実空間上のノルム体積有限なすべての関数で構成される関数空間を設定し,実像間の情報量解析において用いる分布間情報量を導入することで,弱位相回復解が球殻に分布することを見出した.そのアンサンブル平均が適切な解を与えており,ノイズ回折パターンからの単一な位相回復では,その平均解が得られないことを明らかにした.画像復元,特に位相問題がからむ回折イメージングにおいて,解となる像の分布に着目したのは我々が初めてであり,この研究成果は米国の光学専門の論文誌(OSA)に採録された.
