Our objective is to understand behavioral versatility of animals from the perspective of well-coordinated rhythmic and non-rhythmic movements. To this end, we focus on an ophiuroid as a simple good model living organism that exhibits self-organized role assignment of rhythmic and non-rhythmic arm movements in locomotion. Although we have reproduced such versatile arm movements by using an active rotator model that can describe both oscillatory and excitatory properties, coordination of movements has been achieved in a specifically limited situation. In order to overcome this issue, we reexamine the model so that the role assignment of arm movements is realized in more general situations. Simulation results show that the ophiuroid omnidirectional locomotion in response to an attractant or repellent stimulus is successfully realized by using the proposed model.

This paper introduces a new wearable handring support system for a person who has trouble in motor capability of their upper limb.The support system is used not only for a support system to make their upper limb active in daily life but also for a rehabilitation system to reduce manual loads of physical therapists.The system measures three rotation angles of patient's head: pitch, roll and yaw to control three degrees of freedom of the support system; angle of elbow joint, angle of wrist joint and hand close/open, respectively. Hemiplegia patient who has paralysis on one half of the patient body can use both arms cooperatively by wearing the handling support system on the paralysis side. In our experiments, the system helps pouring task from POP bottle to a glass, while an upper limb on paralysis side of a user grasps the POP bottle and the other upper limb grasps the glass.

完全隔壁型の膝蓋上滑膜ひだ障害の1例を経験したので報告する.〈症例〉68歳女性.半年前から右膝痛を自覚,その後症状改善ないため当科受診した.当科初診時,右膝蓋上部に径約3 cm大の圧痛を伴う腫瘤を触知した.MRI上,膝蓋上嚢に隔壁を有する嚢胞性病変を認め,内部は炎症性変化が疑われた.関節鏡視下に隔壁を確認し,同部と膝関節腔内とを交通させるよう隔壁および滑膜切除を行い,術後は右膝痛改善を認めた.〈考察〉膝蓋上滑膜ひだ障害の画像的特徴として,MRIで膝蓋上嚢部にT1強調像で低信号,T2強調像で高信号の関節液貯留を認め,内部に低信号の隔壁を有するとの報告がある.治療は関節鏡下での隔壁切除で症状軽快すると報告されている.本症例でも同様の画像所見を認め,関節鏡視下での隔壁および滑膜切除術が症状改善に有効であった.

【はじめに】頚椎外傷後に咽頭後間隙血腫を生じ,保存的治療で軽快した5例を経験したので報告する.【症例】年齢は47~89歳(平均63.8歳).男性4例,女性1例.交通外傷によるものが3例,転落外傷によるものが2例であった.全例に頚椎骨折を認め,1例は頚髄損傷を合併していた.抗血小板薬を常用しているものが1例あった.咽頭後間隙の最大値は11~37mmであった.2例に気管挿管を必要とし,1例は受傷後3時間で気道閉塞症状が出現したため行い,1例は予防的に行った.抜管までには12~14日間を要した.3例は気管挿管を施行せずに自然軽快した.【考察】咽頭後間隙血腫は遅発性に気道閉塞を引き起こし致命的となることもあるため,その可能性を念頭に置いた治療が必要である.
