Clickable Real World is a new framework to realize an intuitive information search with a mobile terminal. To achieve the goal, we tackle two challenging tasks. One is landmark detection from an observing scene. Our approach detects a landmark based on an image prior. The prior is not given manually. Instead, it is generated automatically from the training samples collected from photo sharing website. Another challenging task is image annotation assisted by geolocation. We use the location of a user who uses a mobile terminal, and geolocation where the training sample images were taken. Two probabilistic models are generated to achieve image annotation. One is image-based labeling which utilizes the co-occurrence between image features and label features. The other is label-based localization which uses the consensus about the label given around the geolocation among photographers. We combine two probabilistic approaches to improve the accuracy of image annotation. We demonstrate this approach for 87 scenes in the world.

Numerous studies have confirmed the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for chronic pain, and it is generally regarded as an appropriate intervention. However, it may not be effective for some pain sites, and the duration of the effect may be limited. In addition, some studies of CBT lacked a comparison group. This review summarizes evidence for the effectiveness of CBT for orofacial pain and assists in the development of guidelines for orofacial pain management. A literature search in PubMed was performed for studies published from April 1990 through March 2020. The search keywords were “burning mouth syndrome,” “temporomandibular disorders,” “myofascial pain syndrome,”“chronic orofacial pain conditions,” “cognitive behavioral therapy,” and “non-pharmacological therapy.” The results indicate that CBT alone or in combination with other treatments, such as intraoral appliance, stress management, or biofeedback, is effective for the vast majority of orofacial pain cases. Therefore, dentists should consider using CBT to manage orofacial pain in their patients.

In this study, we cultivated 32 major citrus cultivars and local accessions of Kagoshima and one control accession to elucidate the polymethoxylated flavone contents with the purpose of providing information for citrus consumers to promote citrus production in the region. All trees were grafted on trifoliate orange rootstock and cultivated in Kagoshima City, Japan. In general, the Brix values and fruit weights of the major cultivars were higher and heavier than those of the local accessions. The ascorbic acid content of Tankan and Rokugatsu Mikan was high and that of Shiikuwasha, Kabuchii, and Shiikuu was very low. For analysis of polymethoxylated flavones (PMF), important health-promoting components sinensetin, nobiletin, heptamethoxyflavone, and tangeretin were quantified. Cultivar and accession differences in the PMF content were also observed. Nobiletin and tangeretin were found to be major PMF in most accessions, and heptamethoxyflavone was not detected in some species such as Kishu Mikan, Ponkan, Shiikuwasha, and Kuroshima Mikan. In the major cultivars, the PMF contents of Kishu Mikan, Ponkan, and Tankan were found to be high. In the local citrus accessions, Shiikuwasha, its relative, and Kishu Mikan were found to have the highest PMF content, and those of Kabuchii and Kuroshima Mikan were also high. Major cultivars Satsuma mandarin, pummelo, and its relative and the local accession Kunenbo contained little PMF.

The effects of temperature and light on photosynthetic, chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics under high temperature in the passion fruits ‘Summer Queen’ (P. edulis × P. edulis f. flavicarpa) and ‘Ruby Star’ (P. edulis × P. edulis f. flavicarpa) were examined. Photosynthetic rates of both cultivars markedly and linearly increased up to 300 μmol·m−2·s−1, and less markedly increased from 300 to 1500 μmol·m−2·s−1 under several light conditions. Their light saturation points were recorded at around 1200 μmol·m−2·s−1 photosynthetic photon flux densities (PPFD). Regarding the relationship between temperature and photosynthesis, the maximum value of the apparent photosynthetic rate of ‘Summer Queen’ was observed at 30°C, and it was lower at both lower and higher temperatures. In ‘Ruby Star’, on the other hand, the maximum value was observed at 20 to 30°C, and this decreased at 35 and 40°C. The gross photosynthetic rate of ‘Summer Queen’ decreased over 30°C whereas in ‘Ruby Star’, it decreased to a lesser extent. The transpiration rate of ‘Ruby Star’ was higher than that of ‘Summer Queen’ at 40°C. Dark respiration increased from 20 to 40°C in both cultivars. Concerning chlorophyll fluorescence characteristics, ‘Summer Queen’ showed high-temperature injury at 40°C and all parameters were significantly decreased at 45°C. On the other hand, Fv/Fm showed only a slight decrease at 45°C in ‘Ruby Star’. These results indicate that ‘Summer Queen’ is susceptible to heat stress and that the range of its optimal temperature for photosynthesis is lower than ‘Ruby Star’.
