若年層を中心に同意・承認・確認を行う表現形式に,跳ね上げイントネーションを伴う「~くない?」というのがある。本来は形容詞型の活用を持つ語での使用であったが,形容詞型に限らず,動詞,名詞を前接することがあることが先行研究で報告されている。また,打消し語を前接して原因理由を述べる表現として「くて」という言い方も若年層を中心に見られるようである。そこでその実態についてアンケートを用いてそれぞれ前接する語の種類について調査するとともにそのような表現を用いることの要因について考察した。その結果,「くない?」が形容詞,動詞,形容動詞,助動詞,名詞,接尾語を前接とするのに対し,「くて」に前接するのは形容詞,動詞,形容動詞,助動詞と,「くない?」に比べて前接する品詞が限られていることが確認できた。

Objectives: There are only a few functional evaluations that non-medical personnel can perform and interpret without guidance. Here, we have created a questionnaire that focused on eating activities, which can be used to evaluate motor function easily because most people could relate to eating activities. This study aimed to verify the reliability and validity of the developed questionnaire by comparing it with clinical evaluations for upper extremity function.Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. Patients who have cerebrovascular disease history with disabilities in the upper limb were included in the study. The questionnaire on eating activities was answered by the patients themselves. Upper extremity function was evaluated with the Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA). Work efficiency was evaluated with the General Aptitude Test Battery. Reliability of the questionnaire was assessed by test-retest reliability. Validity was evaluated using a correlation analysis.Results: The study included 16 participants. The results indicated that all items had sufficient reliability. The correlation between the questionnaire score of the hand and the FMA score of the wrist, hand, and arm was statistically significant.Conclusions: The developed questionnaire was reliable and significantly related to clinical evaluation of upper extremity functions. This questionnaire is of great value to patients with stroke to understand their functions.

We performed 3 kidney biopsies in a 71-year-old man. At the first biopsy, we made the diagnosis of immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related interstitial nephritis characterized by the simultaneous presence of IgG4-positive plasma cells and characteristic fibrosis with a bird's-eye pattern. At the second biopsy, rather than finding fibrosis as a post-inflammatory scar, we noted that steroid treatment had caused the simultaneous disappearance of IgG4-positive plasma cells and fibrosis and had restored the normal tubular structure. The third biopsy showed the recurrence of the disease with inflammatory cells accompanied by fibrosis. These findings suggest that IgG4-positive plasma cells and fibrosis occur simultaneously.

今では当たり前になっている書き言葉の口語文ではあるが、文語から口語へと移り変わる時代に岩手県で教育を受け、『春と修羅』を出版した宮澤賢治はどのような文法体系を身に付けていたのかということを『春と修羅』に用いられた語彙や表現を中心に考察・確認を行った。そこには口語の要素がいろいろと散見され、文法も口語文法が用いられていた。一方方言による表記もあり、賢治が意図的に方言での効果を狙って用いており、明治以来、標準語教育を進めてきた成果は大正末期・昭和初期の岩手県においてもしっかりと定着していたことが確認できた。

本研究の目的は,言文一致がまだ行われていない幕末のことばの様相を『海外新聞』という,幕府をはじめ大名などの権力者から制約を受けることがなかった素材を取り上げ,口語文としての兆しがどのような所に,どのような形で現れるのかということについて用例をあげて調査し,言文乖離の状況下で言文一致へと向かう様子について考察することである。そのために,『海外新聞』の持つ意義や作者たちについて触れ,ついで文語文にまぎれた口語文要素を文法面,表記面から総索引を活用して用例を拾い上げた。その結果,文法面では下二段活用の下一段化が,表記面では発音通りの表記が多く見られることを確認した。さらに外国語表記には一定性がなく,聞こえた通りの音をカタカナ表記しており,当時の人々がどのように聞こえていたのかを知る手掛かりとなることを指摘した。
