The chemical properties of the acidic electrolyzed water were reviewed in their possible role as a bactericidal factor. In connection with this, chemical substance structure, chemical reaction, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), Nernst's equation, pH, Pourbaix diagram and available chlorine concentration (ACC) necessary for understanding the chemical properties were outlined. Based on the results of the bactericidal tests against Bacillus subtilis, the following concluding remarks on the bactericidal activity of the acidic electrolyzed water were obtained. 1) Bactericidal activity is mainly dependent on available chlorine in the form of HClO and Cl_2. 2) At ordinery pH, H^+ has no direct contribution to the bactericidal activity at ordinary pH except for its effect on the ratio of HClO and ClO^-. 3) ORP has no direct role to the bactericidal activity. 4) Radicals are not contributive as the original basis for the bactericidal effect.

This article is a pedagogical review regarding the development of Mechanics towards the establishment of Statistical Mechanics of polymers. The polymer is one of the strongly correlated systems, descsibed by field theory as a one dimensional object (string) embedded in three dimensional space. The aim of this article is to describe the spirit of theoretical physics as it relates to soft matters through the history of unification theories of physics. Path integral, integral over trajectory and functional integral are used without precise definitions in this article.

Cross Site Scripting (XSS) is one of vulnerabilities that is latent in dynamic contents on WWW. Attackers exploit XSS to get cookie information and alter Web pages illegally. One of the problems to eliminate XSS is that Web masters have to check the XSS existance in dynamic contents with great effort, or they have to prohibit the usage of dynamic contents. This paper describles an algorithm we have been designing in order to detect XSS vulnerabilities in PHP scripts that generate dynamic contents. Our algorithm belongs with the flow sensitive analysis in static program analysis, and it is based on the constant propagation analysis. The algorithm supports Web masters with checking the XSS existance in PHP scripts automatically.

This study investigated informatization of design and editorial type. Editorial type means type of editting that provides character of media. Editor makes a distinctive feature of media by combination of the types. We think user's idea of design and lifestyle is based on the conbination. The research methods are the following. The first, we tried to arrange of the stream of information about informatization of design. Second, we investigated some magazines as typical media focused into design, and editors of some select shops. Third, we investigated information about design in some famous net stores. Henceforth, We will try to consider about editorial type.

Yumeji Takehisa (1884-1934) is one of the most famous painters as well as illustrators in Japan. And Yoshio Hayakawa (1917-) is also one of the great graphic designers as well as illustrators in the world. Y. Takehisa created a number of The Portraits of young women, Y. Hayakawa created a lots of The illustrations of Faces of women through the painting in the same way. In this paper, we introduce while comparing two graphic designers works; The Portraits of young women and The Illustrations of Faces of women.
