The pavilions called Tuji-Dou, Yotsu-Dou and so on, which have four pillars and no wall, exist actually in Bingo District, but the origin of the outlines has not been made clear yet. Such pavilions widely exist even in Chugoku and Shikoku District except for Bingo District, and have similarities at their outlines and uses. To begin with, we surveyed the actual condition of their geographical areas and the name in each region, in order to grasp the characteristics of their geographical distribution. Then, we investigated the descriptions of common name and form about Dou without wall throughout historical documents of municipalities of Bingo District and so on, and grasped the origin of the outlines and the reason why various pavilions have been called Tuji-Dou. (1) The name called Tuji-Dou is only Chugoku District. Particularly, the pavilions exist densely in most of Bingo and Bitchu District, and in a part of Inaba, Houki, Suou and Nagato District. The pavilions called Cha-Dou only in Shikoku District exist densely in the border with Iyo and Tosa District, and in a part of the west Awa District. (2) The Tuji-Dou is a generic name of the various pavilions by the roadside in Bingo District, because each ancient document at the Edo period has only one name about Tuji-Dou. The some errors of historical documents of part of municipalities are caused by the quotation from the chronicle of Numakuma histories. In our viewpoint, the old style of Tuji-Dou in Bingo District is Yotsu-Dou which has four pillars and no wall.

It is very important to know Fujii Koji's career and his surroundings, in order to know the way and the philosophy of his architectural design. He was born in 1888 and died in 1938. His life can be divided into 4 periods-First period; from birth until entrance to university: Second period ; during Tokyo Imperial University: Third Period; during Takenka Komuten: Last period; during Kyoto Imperial University. He was acquainted with many intellectuals, artists, writers, prominent teachers and so on in his life. He might be affected by those people and he influenced on many people.

In order to establish an objective approach for evaluating human emotions, Emotional Spectrum Analysis Method (ESAM) has been proposed by Dr. T. Musha et al. It is possible to estimate emotion spectrums with four basic emotional states (i.e., anger/stress, joy, sadness and relaxation) by using ESAM and the measured data of brain waves. Now, we pay attention to the emotional evaluation of music sounds. More specifically, this paper describes the influence of a change of music sounds with different tones (from a minor scale to a major scale) on human emotions. The brain waves for six subjects are measured by electroencephalogram (EEG). Each emotion spectrum can be estimated by using the emotion spectrum analysis system developed by Brain Functions Laboratory, Inc. based on ESAM. The effectiveness of ESAM is experimentally confirmed by applying it to the emotion evaluation problem of the above two kinds of music sounds. We find out the possibility of ESAM for the objective evaluation in the field of music.

"Freecell" is a solitaire game with one deck of cards. The game is played with 8 rows of cards, 4 free cells and 4 home cells. It is similar to the game named "Four Companies". The rate of success is expected to nearly 100%. But the theoretical upper limit for the success rate has not been found. In this paper, I show the maximum number of the cards which are able to move from a row to another. Then I use the same algorithm as that for "Superpuzz" to solve the game. By using a program to play a game with the algorithm on personal computers, I confirmed that the rate of Success is greater than 99.97%. The rate of Success for "Four Companies" is estimated to 91.73%, which is rather less than that of "Freecell"

The traditional private house is very interesting on grasping how the floor plan changes by the reconstruction, when the regionality on floor plan of the modern housing is known. Then, I examined the floor plan before and after the rebuilding in the equal site, of traditional private house with Nakanoma, Nema and Omote in Iya Region of Tokushima Prefecture, and with Okunoma, Nakanoma or Nando in Jinseki County of Hiroshima Prefecture. As the result, I was able to collect 15 samples in Iya Region and 25 samples in Kibikogen Highlands. In case of Iya Region, (1) In floor plan of rebuilt house, the element of entrance and corridor of the modern housing is gradually applied. (2) Omote has rebuilt arrangement and function almost. However, the case of inheriting the function of Nakanoma is observed only 20%. And, original place of Nema tends to have not been inherited. In short, it could be understood that Nakanema with three layouts changed by the reconstruction for the family life center composition from the reception center. In the order, in case of Kibikogen Highlands. (1) The widening of the depth of the site is carried out, and by widening of the first floor part and installation of the second floor, there is the increase of the floor space of the near double. (2) Okunoma, Nakanoma and Nando have fundamentally been inherited after the reconstruction. However, the layout of the living room has been changed in the southeast edge, and lavatory and bathroom change in order to establish in the back of Nakanoma. And, the tokonoma where the front side was equipped has been changed in the gable side of which the usability is good, because the Nando has been established in the back of Okunoma.

Experimental investigation was made on electromagnetic noise radiated from a digital IC package on a printed circuit board with a ground plane, which simulates a multi-layer printed circuit board. We found that the principal radiation source on a printed circuit board with a ground plane is a loop composed of pins of an IC package, Vcc-pin and GND-pin, and the ground plane on the board. The loop stand out perpendicular from the board. It was also shown that the use of surface mounted devices (SMD) are effective to reduce the electromagnetic radiation from this loop. Use of a small outline package (SOP) gives radiation power 8.3 dB less than the case of a DIP package.

The Chinese classical literature "KIN PEI BAI" is known as one of the four most valuable books in China and it is said to be written in the middle of Banreki years in the Ming period. It is a long novel consisting of 100 stories. In this paper the order maintained by the wealthy feudal family in relation to the room arrangement is examined considering the relationship between the ceremony of marriage, one of the ritual initiations clear that, and women's territory. As a result it becomes women's territory in a house divided in accordance with hierarchy such as a wife, a mistress and a maid and family hierarchy was clearly reflected in the room arrangement. Physically it was divided by a fence, a wall and a door and was secluded from society. It was clear that Confucianism and moral discipline were strict with, especially, women. For a man it was one of the important conditions to get a lawful wife with well-balanced social status Only one woman had the right to become the lawful wife and other women could be nothing but a mistress. A mistress was a kind of goods purchased by money. A marriage was a ceremony to take a wife from the outside to the inside. A bride, when she got married, went to a bridegroom's house on a closed palanquin and entered into a given territory. Women's room was closed and secluded from the outside world.

Observation of KOSA, Asian Dust, has been carried out every spring since 2001 with a constructed polarized Mie LIDAR system in department of electronic and electrical engineering, Fukuyama university at 133.23/34.47N. In this report, significant data of KOSA events obtained in 2007 are shown. Moreover, consideration of relation between KOSA and photochemical oxidant are described.

Observation of aerosols in 2002 at Fukuyama University with a polarized Mie LIDAR system is described. Location of the LIDAR system is 133.23/34.47N. In this report, we show a result from April 08 to 13 of 2002, under significant KOSA event, and another result from September 02 to 06, which was first data obtained automatically. The extinction coefficient was also predicted by using the volume particle size distribution and optical depth monitored by sky radiometer.
