In motor skill learning, it is known that extensive practice produces a shift in the brain pathways, and that the existence of memory consolidation, especially, sleep-dependent consolidation, is clearly seen. This paper discussed motor skill learning based on some recent reports on these matters. Both of brain pathway shift and consolidation are not exclusive phenomena in motor skill learning, but they provide some keys to understand the nature of motor skill learning. In addition, it was suggested that declarative memory might have some involvements in motor skill learning processes.

It was rather strange situation that the Japan's 38th army which had deployed over the Indochina peninsula was, as the fact, protected against Anglo-American Array attack by General Jiang-Kai-Sheck. Because, Genralissimo (i.e. Jiang-Kai-Sheck) then asserted his war position's right that the battle field was belonged to China, and Anglo-American Arry should not be involved by themselves. Churchill and Roosevelt couldn't oppose it, although both leaders were in a great quandary. For Japan, the Indochina battle field, then, became safe and advantageous. Among that peculiar power balance, Japan had a rare historical option to realize its plan to support the independence of the European and American colonies in the all South East Asia, and Japan extended its South East Asian diplomacy to give them the diplomatic recognition by the European international law.

Twelfth Night is a romance ending with three marriages. However, it is much darker than is generally thought. It is not just Malvolio's threat of revenge and "rain and wind" in Feste's epilog that darkens the play. Rather, the reader finds marriages themselves disgustful. In the subplot, although Maria ridicules Malvolio for his self-love and plots against his ambition to be Count Malvolio, she herself climbs a social ladder by marrying Sir Toby, her lady's uncle. Likewise, in the main plot Viola plans to supplant Olivia by disguising herself as a page to Orsino. Sebastian's marriage to Olivia is a little different, for he does not plot against anybody; but he marries Olivia, knowing there may be some "error" in "this accident and flood of fortune".

Through the period from the Hayashi to the first Konoe Cabinet, which was estabished in July 1937, although all successive ministers of finance propagated the need of the controlled economy, in fact, it appeared,their economic policy protected the free economy interests. On the other hand, the military required successive governments the stronger national defense. Then, in order to satisfy the both opposite requests at the same time, the first Konoe Cabinet wrote one scenario. The first Konoe Cabinet after its reshuffling established the two national investment companies in China, one was located in the northern part China, and another in the middle part both at the end of 1938. By the scenario, it was assumed that the two investment companies could absorb most of Japan's private capital on the one hand, and on the other hand could invest own capital in China aiming to make Japan's military influence prevail there.

Hamlet's procrastination has long puzzled the audience. Despite his desire to revenge his father's death on his uncle, and despite his promise to the ghost, he repeatedly delays taking revenge. Above all, the scene in which Hamlet, seeing the king praying alone, draws but sheathes the sword, impresses the audience with his procrastination. Though Claudius appears to be capable, he also is a procrastinator. Since Hamlet is a son of the king whom Claudius killed, he knows Hamlet is vengeful and knows he should get rid of him, but he cannot. Instead, he asks him to stay, and agrees with Polonius's proposal to use Ophelia to test Hamlet's feeling. He even misses the chance after the nunnery scene and before the play within the play. Thus, Claudius resembles Hamlet in his procrastination and his, together with Hamlet's is the cause of the tragedy. However, causes of their procrastination differ. Hamlet procrastinates because he is not fully convinced of his uncle's guilt whereas Claudius procrastinates because he cannot confront his guilty feeling. The important thing is that Hamlet's integrity, though it causes his procrastination, wins back Laertes and enables him to revenge his father's death on his uncle.

In this study an ability to improve thermal insulation properties of steel shutters installed at factories was considered.At the first stage heat transmission coefficient of a steel shutter with inward air layer constructed using thin vinyl sheet, were calculated with measured data of air temperatures in and around a steel storeroom and amount of heat flow.And also the effect of inward air layer to prevent the dew condensation on metal components’ surfaces in a factory was verified with measured data of winter thermal environment.

Effectiveness of original lecture method to introduce European architectural history for students at the stage of basic study of architecture was considered. In our lectures, dynamic change of European churches’ shape from ancient times to modern times, and relationship between design disciplines of modern European countries, were focused on, and year number of Christian era were not used. Based on the questionnaire to students conducted after the lecture, it was clarified that weak consciousness of European architectural history they had was wiped out, and their desires of next learning stage of architectural history were also evoked. As another method, we tried a lesson that was easy to grasp the flow of Architectural works and styles, using sheets with parallel European and Japanese age.

This paper describes the magnetic refrigeration at near-room temperature. First, sphere of Gadolinium (Gd), 0.6 mm in diameter, was prepared as a magneto-caloric medium and the temperature change of Gd versus applied field was investigated. It was found that the linear temperature rise/fall was found for applied field. Then, magnetic circuit was designed by the finite-element magnetic field analysis. The magnetic circuit consisted of NdFeB permanent magnet, iron yoke stator, and vessel for Gd sphere, with moving stage was made as a trial. A heat-exchanger circuit using coolant was constructed with water pump and solenoid and the system was tested with regard to heat-exchanging ability. The obtained temperature change was very small due to low magnetic field applied to the Gd sphere and small Gd volume. The future work was also noted.

The Governor-general Makoto Saitoh enthusiastically proceeded Korea election civil right movement in 1930 which had juxtaposing relationship with those movement brought up in Irish Free State(1921). What sort of political and international surroundings were there around Governor-general Saitoh to make its decision? Why did this policy stop before the half way? I observe the reason on the ground of Shidehara & Uchida diplomacy.

The united nations was associated after the Asia-Pacific war ended. In spite that, in almost all areas in Asia and Africa, then the nations started their wars seeking for national independence one after another. Isn't that matter strange and contradiction? We must double check our current history. Then we find a historical fact that such kind of new war first occurred successfully by receiving a congratulatory telegram by the Pope, during war time, to the Americans domain Philippines in January 1944.

The world famous beautiful small town named Letchworth is located in the outskirts of Capital London. This town was formulated by the proposal of Ebenezer Howard in 1898. He hoped to create the new middle town near London. He had always an interest in urban problems in London. Because London had much public nuisance sity caused by the over population, many poor inhabitants, narrow streets, traffic congestion, low-level housing estates and various diseases under the Industrial Revolution. He worked in the samll village of Nebraska and Chicago in the US. He was moved by the environmental residential district of Chicago. After return to London, He published his own book titled Tomorrow : A Peaceful Path to Real Reform in 1898. He established "the Garden Association" in 1899, he re-published a book named "Garden City of Tomorrow" in 1902. He bought the rural village Letchworth, and he appointed two architects Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin. Many peoples co-operated the construction and establishment of new town Letchworth. This Letchworth "Garden City" was realished and is under the management of Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation. We can now see many small or middle new town developed under the idea of Garden City of Howard in England, Japan, France, United-States and another countries.

This paper, deals with Momijiyama Kicho Shomoku (described contents in the clause of compile, the number and the date of shoho shiro ezu. This Momijiyama Kicho Shomoku is the new historical material in the study of shoho shiro ezu. As the result of this considerations, the important points areas follows: (1) The clause of compile of Shiro Ezu(castle map)can see, in the period of time of beginning, on the compile of the kuni-ezu (provincial maps of Japanese) of the Genroku time (1697). (2)The total of shoho shiro ezu supposed, as a new light , as the 157 numbers.

This paper, deals with the title of inside of Shoho Shiro Ezu. As the results of this study, the author concluded the followings. There are most maps which drew a town in the sideways in the direction of the Shoho Shiro Ezu. And then, There is much the lower left in the sideways map in the position which the title of inside of Shoho Shiro Ezu is written in. There are many maps whichi the name of the country territory, the castle name and the seigneur name are writing in turn, in the title of inside of Shoho Shiro Ezu. As for the azimuth of the Shoho Shiro Ezu, relationship with the direction of the map and the writing in position of the name isn't attended.

頸椎損傷者などは上肢も不自由なため,電動車椅子の操作にも不自由が伴う.そこで,「舌運動」を利用し,口腔部に設置したリモコンやジョイスティックを用いて,福祉機器の操作を行う「口腔・舌運動による総合型操作装置ItoAS」の開発を行っている.24年度は,口唇で咥えて使用する「口唇ジョイスティック」,25年度はジョイスティック型口腔内リモコン5号機を開発し,26年度は小型化を目指して6号機を製作した.システムの有効性を確認するために,6号機を用いて市販の電動車椅子で簡易コースを走行する試験を行った.当リモコンを舌で操作した所要時間は指と比較して約20%の増加に留り,本システムの有効性が示された.

Rome was formulate by many emperor, monarch, Pope and persons in power from before Christ to nowadays. By this reason, there are many problems for the large-scale underground construction. Before the World WarⅡ, Mussolini planned the exposition in southern suburbs area of rome (E.U.R). After the war, this E.U.R. was renewal for the various large-scale public estates. After the 1960's, Rome constructed many housing estates in eastern area. In nowadays Italian government and Municipality of Rome are planning the reservation the land from the new ecological and environmental point of view in western area of Rome, but on the other hand Rome are planning the new city "Bufalotta" in the northern area of Rome. We must pay attension to these new policies in future.
