Kindai-Sukisha (a master of the tea ceremony in modern age) made many wooden high-class Japanese style residences. ‘Inakaya’ (country cottage) is a kind of teahouse by Kindai-Sukisha. This article regarded ‘Inakaya’ as a style of the residence in modernization. And it aims at clarifying the origin of ‘Inakaya’ and the process of change from the descriptions in the tea party records by Kindai-Sukisha. The house called an ‘Inakaya’ changed from the small hut to the reconstructed big farmhouse. The point of view of ‘Inakaya’ is that create new style of teahouse by Kindai-Sukisha himself, without an architect or a master of tea.

This study deals with the landscaping heritages on BENTENJIMA resort areas (MAISAKA, SHIZUOKA) .The aim of this paper is to make clear the relation between landscaping heritages and changing process of land use. By the study some knowledge was acquired as follows. 1) The sustainability of landscaping heritages related to keeping site largeness. 2) The group of heritages have the sustainability to make highly. 3) The large site keep trees if the site change its use. 4) In reclaimed land, urban spatial planning influenced that sustainability.

Okitsu was a place suitable for retreat villa area between the end of the 1 9th century and the second world war. Famous person's villa was built in Okitsu, and an excellent villa area was formed. Okitsu was located in the far from Tokyo in the beach villa area formed along Tonkaido Line. There were not a lot of numbers of villas in the small scale. Therefore, owners had a personal connection. In this text, the villa made in Okitsu is researched. The historical background of Okitsu and the connection of owners are clarified. This is connected with knowing what place was ideal for famous persons.

火の見櫓は、昭和20年代から40年代頃には、全国にくまなく建設されたが、現在では漸次撤去されている。火の見櫓には景観資源としての可能性が認められる。すなわち、集落の景観構成上、要所に位置していることが多く、一景観要素としても、頭頂部等に特徴的な意匠を見せ、地域のランドマークとなっている。本論では、静岡県内を主たる対象地域として火の見櫓の現況を示し、かつてコミュニティがつくりあげ、どこにでも存在した環境造形として火の見櫓をとらえなおし、その造形的側面からの可能性を考察した。調査の結果、火の見櫓は静岡県内に約1000基残存している。これらを、立地と景観および形態的な特徴とから考察した。火の見櫓は同じ造形をもつものがほとんどなく、それらはタイプとそのヴァリエーションという2つのレヴェルにおいて、差異を生みだすしくみが見られる。火の見櫓の造形を通した可能性としては、次の2点からその活用を提案した。1) まちづくりのきっかけ その数の多さから、小さな地域単位での環境史を伝える遺産としてその造形を考えること。2) デザインにおける差異考察の資料 その造形の多様さから、環境に応じた個性とは何かを考えること。
