原子力発電所の安全を担保する思想は深層防護である。東日本大震災による発電所への影響を深層防護に従い検討を行うと,いかなる場合においても,電源を供給できるようにすることが必須であることが見えてくる。全交流電源喪失,全交流電源系統喪失,全電源喪失など,発生確率とリスクに応じて,電源に対する対策を考えていくことが重要である。わずかな電源容量であっても,ある程度の時間は稼ぐことができる。事象を整理し,俯瞰的に評価することで,プラント全体のリスクを低減していくことが重要である。

本論文では,Webデザインがユーザに与える印象と,記憶される情報量との関係を明らかにするため,Webアンケート調査と被験者実験(眼球運動測定,ヒアリング)を通して調べた結果について報告する.まずSD法によりWebデザインが与える印象,評価を分析した結果,「利便性」「文字の可読性」「エンターテイメント性」というWeb評価因子が抽出された.また共分散構造分析を通し,良いデザインと思われるには「利便性」「エンターテイメント性」,再利用意向を高めるには「利便性」の影響が大きいことを明らかにした.またWeb閲覧時のユーザの眼球運動測定,閲覧後のヒアリングにより,注視された情報量と記憶された情報量とは相関関係があること.また,注視された情報量は「利便性」「エンターテイメント性」,記憶された情報量は「利便性」の影響が大きいことを示した.つまり,良いデザインと思われる為にも,再利用意向を高める為にも,情報が注視される為にも,記憶に残す為にも,「次に何をすればいいか迷わない」「タイトルが見つけやすい」などユーザのメンタルモデルに即した「利便性」をWeb上にデザインすることが重要となることが明らかになった.

It is known that flying fish perform long-range flight in the air in order to escape from predators such as tuna and swordfish. During the unsteady flight, ground effect enables the flying fish execute to flight for the maximum range and longest time. In this study, it was investigated a basic characteristic of the flow around the flying fish fin in ground effect, in order to understand the flying fish gliding performance quantitatively. The streamwise velocity profiles around the airfoil model were measured by a high time-resolved PIV (particle image velocimetry) in an open loop wind tunnel. A moving ground essential to generate the ground effect was supplied using a rotating disk. Two plates were put in tandem as the test wing model of a pectoral fin and a ventral fin of the flying fish. It was found that decreasing the height of the airfoil model caused a larger difference between the velocity in the suction surface side and that in the pressure surface side of the pectoral fin model.

本稿では,原子力プラントの計測情報とシミュレーション結果に対して,階層型データおよび時系列データの可視化手法を適用したシステムを紹介する.本システムでは,数百,数千個の物理量が時系列データとして与えられることを仮定する.本システムでは,まずこれらの物理量を位置や単位系に基づいて階層的に分類し,「平安京ビュー」という階層型データ可視化手法を用いて可視化する.それと同時に,本システムでは「今昔物語」という時系列データ可視化手法を用いて,物理量の時系列変化も可視化する.本稿では,本システムによる可視化の例,およびユーザテスト結果を示し,本システムの有効性について議論する.

Any wind instrument can sound due to the vibration of the air, expiration flow inside of the wind instrument. In case of a trumpet or a clarinet, a mouth or a reed helps to sound variable tones. In case of a flute, there is no mechanical vibration. We would like to investigate more detail about the flow and the vibration with sound inside or outside of the flute, in order to understand the mechanism of the wind instrument and to aid in the manufacture of the good instrument. In this report, a Japanese traditional bamboo flute was used in the experiment. The dynamic PIN technique was applied to measure the vibration. 2 kinds of experiments were done. The Argon-gas flow with different tone inside/outside of the bamboo flute was measured using a high frequency pulse laser. Oil mist was used as the tracer particles. Then, we also tried to measure the flow in bamboo flute when a human player played, using a CW-laser and the water-mist as the tracers. We successfully measured that the periodical flow near a hole of the bamboo flute went out from and came into the flute at 200-500Hz dependent on the tone.

Blood flow in microvessels, such as arterioles, capillaries and venules, whose diameter ranges from 5 to 50μm, is responsible for the maintenance of tissue and organ functions. The measurement of microvascular blood flow velocity with high measurement accuracy is essential for basic and clinical studies in the assessment of flow shear stress at the vascular wall in relation to substance exchange between blood and tissue. This paper aimed to evaluate the velocity field of blood flow in microvessels with high spatial and temporal resolution. By using micro PIV system, the velocity distributions of red blood cells flowing in rat mesenteric arterioles, including near the wall in the axisymmetric plane, were obtained. Ensemble averaged time-series of velocity profiles in the cross-sections were calculated for comparison. It was shown that the arteriole velocity profile was blunt in the center region of the vessel cross-section while it was steep in the near wall region.
