本研究は,K市在住の河内音頭愛好家である女性51名を対象に,河内音頭が中高年女性の身体にどのような影響を及ぼすかについて検討することを目的とした。その結果,河内音頭中の心拍数および運動強度は,中程度のレベルでほぼ一定であった。また,年齢と体脂肪率が上がるに伴い心拍数および運動強度は低い値を示した。以上の結果より,河内音頭は運動者の特性に応じた運動強度で運動ができ,その運動強度から中高齢者にとって安全な運動であり,健康づくりの運動プログラムとして効果的な運動であることが示唆された。

車両の軽量化と乗心地の向上,ロードノイズ低減との両立をねらい,振動の伝達系にあたる車体フレームを対象とした減衰制御構造(減衰節構造,減衰ウェルドボンド接合),及び本構造に使用する振動減衰性に優れた構造用接着剤を新たに開発した。減衰節構造について,同等質量の簡易フレームを用いて基礎検証した結果,剛性に加えて減衰性が向上し,高い質量効率で振動が低減することを確認した。実車を用いた効果検証では,車体の振動が低減したとともに,100km/h走行時のロードノイズが運転席で最大5dB低減することを確認した。

本研究では農業ICTシステムのデータ連携における標準語彙として農作業基本オントロジーを提案する.農作業基本オントロジーは,様々な農作業に対して記述論理に基づく定義と構造化を⾏うことで,農作業名称が持つ意味の多様性を明確に記述している.また,同義語や関連情報も収録されており,データ間の連携や統合における基準情報として活⽤することができる.これにより,異なる農業ICTシステムからのデータを連携させて分析することが可能となる.さらに,農作業同⼠の意味関係を論理的に定義することにより,農業データの意味把握と分析も容易となる.農作業基本オントロジーはLinked Open Data(LOD)形式でも公開されており,相互運⽤性と機械可読性が確保されている.農作業基本オントロジーは農作物に関する情報や国内外の農業に関連する情報体系とも連携されており,⾼度な知識処理が可能な農業分野における知識基盤としての利活⽤が期待される.最後に農作業基本オントロジーの応⽤事例として統計調査の⾃動化とオントロジーによる農作業の推論を紹介し,その有⽤性と可能性について検討する.

We developed a smart handcart with autonomous returning function. In the conventional handcarts to carry baggage, a user pushes a handcart with baggages on the way to destination, and then, he also should carry it back without load. The developed handcart is equipped with odometry function and a laser range scanner. It records its trajectory and surrounding environment while going to destination, and it can autonomously return back to the station by retracing the recorded trajectory and environmental information. As feature of the environment to compensate the accumulating error in odometry, the cart uses flat wall and edge of pillar which is extracted by its laser range scanner. Experimental results shows the effectiveness and reliability of the system.

The aim of this study is to explain the historical change of indoor shoes and their role in school life.Three points were used in researching about indoor shoes, because there have been no previous studies.(1) Explaining how the use of indoor shoes was influenced by the architecture of the school buildings from the Meiji era to the present, paying special attention to the school entrance.(2) Researching the use of indoor shoes using pictures of Saitama womens’ teacher’s school.(3) Taking a questionnaire for people above 50 about indoor shoes in their schooldays and explaining the role of the shoes.Japanese students have been removing their shoes at the school entrance for 130 years, from when the educational system started to the present.The custom of removing shoes at the school entrance, putting them into boxes, and changing into indoor shoes first appeared during the Taisho era. This custom originates from everyday life in Japan and was used as a teaching tool.

プログラミング学習への興味における男女不均衡を是正するためには,男女ともに興味を持って学べる題材が必要だと考えた.その一例として,データビジュアライゼーションのプログラミング教材を開発中である.JavaScript(p5js)を利用して,学習者の興味分野のデータをインタラクティブなインフォグラフィクスとして視覚化する.学習者はプログラミングを学ぶことで,自分の表現力,創造力を駆使した作品を公開することが可能となる.

農業に関する用語のセマンティックな標準化を検討し,標準化された農業用語を通して農業情報の相互流通を支援するために,農業オントロジー,農業用語の構築および管理をするためのツールを開発した.オントロジーは,厳格に概念の整理方法を規定してきちんと作成するものから,自然言語処理に使うため構造化された語彙集,一般の辞書レベルまで幅広く定義されているが,本研究では,農業情報の標準化や共有化のキーとなる情報として,一般的な農業用語集,農業ITシステムで扱われているキーワード,また標準化された農業共通語彙などを農業オントロジー情報として収集した.構造化されていない農業用語に関しては,RDF/SKOSに変換し,統一されたフォーマットで管理するオントロジーブローカーを開発した.収集・登録した農業オントロジー情報のマッチングを行い,言葉の揺らぎや,同義語,同意語等の関連付けができるようにし,横断的に検索できるようなWebAPIを構築した.オントロジー構築ツールを通して,現在運用されている農業ITシステムで用いられている農業語彙から,徐々に標準化された農業に関する名称への変換を支援することを目指す.

携帯電話・スマートフォン等モバイル通信機器の急速な普及により,従来のパソコン向けウェブサイトを携帯電話やスマートフォン向けに改編する必要性が生じる場合がある.そこで,パソコン向け既存ウェブサイト「作物学用語集」を例に,初学者でもできるだけ簡易に取り組める手法を検討し,携帯電話向けサイトとAndroid用アプリに変換した.携帯電話向けサイトに変換するためのユーティリティは,無料で公開されているTiny   BASICで作成した.パソコン向けウェブサイトの元ファイルの長いテキストは,各用語の先頭につけられた星マークを目印に短いテキストへ分割し,必要なHTMLタグは各テキストの前後に追加した.各ファイルを識別するために,全ファイルに通し番号を付けた.作成したファイルは無料のFC2ホームページ・サービスにアップロードし公開した.Android用アプリについては,プログラミングについての特定の知識なしでAndroid版・iOS版両方のアプリ作成が可能なアムゼネット社の「アプリビルダー」を利用して,携帯向けサイト用に分割した各用語のテキストファイルを用いて各項目を作成し,Google Playで無料のアプリとして公開した.

皮膚は外界からの様々なストレスから身を守るため,損傷時には迅速な回復が要求される。この修復反応を創傷治癒と呼び,多くの過程により成り立っている。その中でも表皮細胞,線維芽細胞の増殖と創部への遊走は創部面積の縮小や組織再構築など,創傷治癒において非常に重要である。 そこで,創傷治癒過程において重要な役割を果たす表皮細胞に対するラクトフェリン(Lf)の作用を検討した。また,基底膜の分解や血管新生を促して創傷治癒に関与するマトリックスプロテアーゼ(MMP)-2およびMMP-9の遺伝子発現と酵素活性に及ぼすLfの影響について解析を行った。その結果,Lfは表皮細胞の細胞増殖や遊走を促進し,MMP-9の活性を増強することから,これらの作用を通じて創傷治癒を促進することが示唆された。

This paper proposes a light-weight navigation platform that consists of gyro-assisted odometry, a 3D laser scanner and map-based localization for human-scale robots. The gyro-assisted odometry provides highly accurate positioning only by dead-reckoning. The 3D laser scanner has a wide field of view and uniform measuring-point distribution. The map-based localization is robust and computationally inexpensive by utilizing a particle filter on a 2D grid map generated by projecting 3D points on to the ground. The system uses small and low-cost sensors, and can be applied to a variety of mobile robots in human-scale environments. Outdoor navigation experiments were conducted at the Tsukuba Challenge held in 2009 and 2010, which is an open proving ground for human-scale robots. Our robot successfully navigated the assigned 1-km courses in a fully autonomous mode multiple times.

社会における急速なグローバル化に伴い、年齢を問わず、英語を学びたいと願う学習者が増加している。そのような学習者を対象に、さまざまな「効果的な英語学習法」が提案されている。しかし、それらの方法の中には根拠がないものも少なくない。本稿では、ある英語学習法の検証を通じて第二言語習得研究の成果を紹介する。そして、第二言語習得研究の見地から言語教育に関わる教師が効果的な学習法、教授法を構築する前に考えるべきこと、すべきことについての示唆を行う。

都市には空間を物理的に分断するものが多く存在する。それは都市空間(もしくは都市空間を構成する要素)が隣接する周辺の地域と、ある存在によって切り離されることであると解釈できる。その中には貧困や差別などといった社会的課題と連動し、地域の人々にとって負の存在になるものもある。本研究ではその一例として大阪市住吉区浅香町1丁目・2丁目を取り上げる。浅香町は地下鉄車庫によって周辺地域と分断されていたが、住民の反対運動によって撤去されたという経緯がある。本稿では浅香町の分断に対する政策的アプローチと空間構造の変化を読み解き、分断の発生・解消・接続のプロセスを明確にし、浅香町の事例を都市空間の分断の一事例としてどう位置づけることができるかについて考察する。

【目的】デンプン系,グアーガム系,キサンタンガム系およびその他の各種市販とろみ調整食品が緑茶,牛乳,オレンジジュースおよび味噌汁に与える影響を物性面から解析し,性能に基づくとろみ調整食品の分類を行うことを目的とした。【方法】15種類のとろみ調整食品を4種類の食材に溶解して調製した各種とろみ液の粘度およびテクスチャーを測定し,とろみ調整食品の機能性を反映する指標として,粘度力価,添加時および安定時粘度ばらつき,初期粘度発現率および付着性を算出した。さらにこれら5つの指標を用いて主成分分析およびクラスター分析を行った。【結果】粘度力価は4種の食材すべてについてグアーガム系が大きかった。添加時および安定時の粘度のばらつきはとろみ調整食品の種類と食材の組合せによって傾向が異なった。初期粘度発現率は食材によって特徴があり,緑茶ではキサンタンガム系が,オレンジジュースではデンプン系が高い値を示した。付着性は4種の食材すべてについてデンプン系が大きかった。5つの指標を用いて食材別に主成分分析を行なうと,とろみ成分による分類とは異なる分布を示した。一方,全食材の5つの指標を説明変数にとり,クラスター分析を行った結果,とろみ成分に応じたクラスターが形成された。【結論】市販とろみ調整食品が食材の物性に及ぼす影響をもとに分類を行なうと,各とろみ剤の特徴が食材の種類によって異なることが明らかとなった。したがって,とろみを付与する食材や目的に応じて適切な製品を選択することが重要である。

Failures on demand of a reactor core isolation cooling (RCIC) system in BWRs are the most frequent events of limiting conditions for operation during 1982-2006 in Japan, according to data gathered in Nuclear Information Archives (NUCIA). In this work, probabilities of failures of the RCIC system are analyzed by using the hierarchical Bayes method. The failures on demand of the RCIC system are classified into two groups; one is related to the demand at a periodical inspection test, which is performed almost every 13 months at the end of the periodical inspection of the nuclear power plant, and the other is related to the monthly surveillance test during plant operation. The hierarchical Bayes analysis shows the characteristics of probabilities of failures of each Japanese plant and also that probabilities of failures at the periodical inspection test are quite different from those at the surveillance test, comparing Japanese nuclear power plants with American ones. This paper provides a new approach to analyzing sparse failure data taken from nuclear power plants in Japan.

It is known that flying fish perform long-range flight in the air in order to escape from predators such as tuna and swordfish. During the unsteady flight, ground effect enables the flying fish execute to flight for the maximum range and longest time. In this study, it was investigated a basic characteristic of the flow around the flying fish fin in ground effect, in order to understand the flying fish gliding performance quantitatively. The streamwise velocity profiles around the airfoil model were measured by a high time-resolved PIV (particle image velocimetry) in an open loop wind tunnel. A moving ground essential to generate the ground effect was supplied using a rotating disk. Two plates were put in tandem as the test wing model of a pectoral fin and a ventral fin of the flying fish. It was found that decreasing the height of the airfoil model caused a larger difference between the velocity in the suction surface side and that in the pressure surface side of the pectoral fin model.
