Investigating relations between physical and chemical properties on granulated compound fertilizer and its dissolution, author continuously preceeding papers used nine-sold fertilizers and studied on which the relative difference of large size from small have an collapse and elements (N, P_2O_5, K_2O)dissolution of a granule effects, undertaking dissolution with water in a vertical line, and described the result. The distilled water dropping on a granule at 50ml / fraction / 20minutes through fine tube (1 mm indiameter), pH, N, P_2O_5, K_2O were determined for dissolved fractions at 17℃ ± 2℃ nearly. The result may be summarized as follows : (1) Dissolution of materials affected pH was ended within 300ml almost and pH variation was a good correspondance with dissolution of N, P_2O_5, K_2O elements from a granule. And further this variation of larger granule than small was relatively slight and slow. (2) The order of difficulty and ease in solubility among these elements was apparently P_2O_5 < K_2O ≪ N. But this tendency was week in urea ・ ammonium phosphorated and ammonium chloride compound fertilizer. It was also obserbed that N, P_2O_5, K_2O dissolution was accerated by temperature rise up to about 5℃ for general and high compound fertilizer (8-8-8, 15-15-12). (3) High analysis compound fertilizers made of ammonium phosphate for P_2O_5 like urea, ammonium phosphorated, ammonnium chloride were considerably rich in solubility. Therefore application of these fertilizers to paddy soil, especially in case of puddling indicates the possibility of perfect dissolution of elements, expecting no existence of granule in apparence. (4) Care must be taken that this sort of dissolution-examination is much affected by granule physical properties, especially gravity and size, dropping speeds of water and volume / fraction.
