The present study investigated how academic performance and athletic performance were related to the results of athletic students’ getting a job offer from companies which are preferred by college students in job hunting. One thousand seven hundred thirty-nine student athletes were surveyed regarding the result of job hunting, the difficulty of entrance exam of university, national/private university, getting a scholarship, classification of entrance exam, academic performance (GPA), athletic performance, and gender. Results showed that the difficulty of entrance exam of university is the most effective factor relating to the results of getting a job in companies preferred by college students. In particular, the effects of academic performance and athletic performance on job hunting were not common to all participants, but were limited to the universities with the highest admission difficulty.

【目的】膵腺房細胞癌(以下ACC)は稀な膵腫瘍であり,その発生頻度は全膵腫瘍の約0.4%とされる.本疾患の臨床病理学的特徴には未だ不明な点も多く,自験例での検討を行った.【対象】2004年から2011年までに当教室で経験し,組織学的に確認し得たACC 4症例.【結果】平均年齢は68.2歳,全例男性で,CT検査画像では境界明瞭で内部不均一な低濃度腫瘤影を呈し,血液検査では血清エラスターゼ1,AFP値の上昇を認めた.治療は3例に根治的切除が施行され,切除不能例には5-FU+放射線照射併用療法が施行された.切除例全例に肝転移再発を認め,追加切除または全身化学療法を施行した.治療成績では追加切除例で68.4ヶ月,切除不能例で70.0ヶ月の長期生存例を経験した.【結論】今後も症例の集積により,再発・転移例に対する積極的な制癌治療を含む治療戦略の検討が必要と考えられた.

Promotion of barrier-free systems has been discussed actively because of the recent aging society, and more and more elevators and other devices have been installed in places such as large-scale public facilities and stations. However, it is difficult to apply barrier-free designs to every building to assist people’s mobility and smooth carriage of luggage. Especially stairs are the challenging place in terms of mobility. We consider a vehicle-type robot that can go up and down stairs is effective to solve this problem. Thus, in our study, we aimed to establish a technology which prevents the robot from sliding down stairs, and we proposed the wheel structure with the new C-shaped claw mechanism to adapt passively to shapes of steps. We also proposed the movement action principle that is less affected by the distance between the stair nosings. In this paper, we discuss the mechanical configuration and the mechanical design of the vehicle-type robots that we have developed, and report on the experiments.
