Historically, arsenic trioxide (AT) was commonly used in endodontic treatment because it acts quickly and devitalizes the pulp within two days. However, it is cytotoxic to gingiva and bone. If it diffuses out of the cavity it can readily cause widespread necrosis of gingiva and bone, which can lead to osteomyelitis of the jaws. This article presents two cases of osteonecrosis of the jaws caused by leakage of AT. Case 1: A 74-yearold male was referred to our department complaining of pain of the left maxilla following extraction of his first maxilla molar on the left side by a private practitioner three months earlier. Case 2: A 39-year-old female was referred to our department complaining of impairment of sensation in the left lower lip following root treatment of her second mandibular molar on the left side by a private practitioner. AT preparation had been used in both these cases two months earlier. We performed sequestrectomy under local anesthesia in these cases.

We present a case of large complex odontoma of the mandible of an 8-year-old female that showed interesting radiographic features and remarkable radioisotope uptake.
The patient visited our hospital with a complaint of delayed eruption of the left mandibular first molar. Radiographic features showed a large radioopaque lesion of the left mandibular body. The tumor was successfully removed by surgical procedure and the mandibular base of the mandible and the mandibular canal were preserved without any functional disorder.
The histopathological specimens suggested that maturing process of odontogenesis was occurring.
We have regarded this case as an immature odontoma or developing odontoma of early stage and discussed the considerations of the clinical diagnosis, radiographic features, histopathological findings and the relationship between the usual odontoma and the other odontogenic tumors such as ameloblastic fibroma or ameloblastic fibro-odontoma and so on.

Multiple oral cancers have been found more frequently today than in past years. The reason may be due to the progress of therapeutic result and the long term follow-up observationafter success of prompt and effective treatment of the first primary lesion.
Multiple cancer involving oral cancer were observed frequently in the multicentric areassuch as the stomach, lung, and esophagus but rarely found in the thyroid.
The patient with double cancer of the tongue and thyroid was found due to material fromradical neck dissection for tongue cancer.

The presence of sebaceous glands in the oral mucosa is not uncommon, however, sebaceous elements are rarely found on the tongue. Only six cases of ectopic sebaceous glands of the tongue have been reported previously. And four cases of them which have formed duct-like structure were discussed in relation to the thyloglossal duct.
We have recently encountered a case which was clinically and microscopically similar to the prior cases. In this article, a case report was presented with the review of the literature.

Glandular odontogenic cyst (GOC) is a rare jawbone cyst of odontogenic origin, first described by Gardner et al. in 1988. GOC is characterized by typical histopathological features, a gradual increase in size, and a high rate of local recurrence if not adequately treated. We report a case of GOC occurring in the anterior region of the mandible. The patient was a 62-year-old woman who presented with swelling of the anterior region of the mandible. Panoramic radiography indicated a multilocular radiolucent lesion in the anterior region of the mandible. Enucleation of the cyst was performed. Postoperative healing was satisfactory, and no recurrence has been noted on long-term observation. We reviewed 41 cases of GOC that had beenreported previously. Among these cases, 35 were located in the mandible and only 6 in the maxilla. The male: female ratio was 1.28 (23: 18), and the mean age was 47.8 years. Radiographically, among a total of 37 cases, 18 were unilocular and 19 were multilocular. The overall recurrence rate was 19.5%.
