This paper discusses high frequency acoustic noise generated by an IH cooker. Mechanism of high frequency acoustic noise generation is clarified by the experimental study. Recently, influence of the electromagnetic wave on the human body is worried. The symptoms; user of home electronics appliances feels; are headache and nausea. There is a report that some users who are using IH cooking heater also feel these symptoms. We have discovered that the high frequency acoustic noise, which is generated from an IH cooker, indicates strong-level sound pressure. High frequency strong acoustic noise must not be ignored, because its danger on our health is reported scientifically and medical standpoints. Then, it becomes necessary to examine the suppressing method of high frequency acoustic noise. In this paper, generating mechanism of the high frequency (20 kHz ∼) acoustic noise is made clarify by the experiments. Further, we have experimentally cleared that the lid of a pan has important effect on the suppression of the high frequency acoustic noise.

This paper discusses the high frequency acoustic noise generated by an IH cooking heater. Moreover, the generating mechanism of the high frequency acoustic noise is clarified by experimental study. Recently, influence of the electromagnetic wave on the human body is worried. The symptoms; user of home electronics appliances feels; are headache and nausea. There is a report that some users who are using IH cooking heater also feel these symptoms. We have discovered that the high frequency acoustic noise of high sound pressure level being generated by an IH cooking heater. The high frequency acoustic noise adversely affects our health. Then, it is necessary to examine the suppressing method of high frequency acoustic noise. The high frequency acoustic noise and the generating mechanism were clarified by the experiment.

This paper describes the effect of power supply noise on the acoustic noise and pan vibration when making use of the IH (Induction Heating) cooker. Recently, due to the spread of power electronics device, noise superimposed on the AC power supply is a problem. It has been reported that the acoustic noise provides discomfort feeling when using the IH cooker. Other studies have concluded that the vibration of a pan due to the induction heating is the noise source. So, we started our study on the noise from a pan when making use the IH cooker. Furthermore, we clarify the influence of power source noise on the acoustic noise and pan’s vibration. We made an experiment to clarify this influence. As a result, we clarified that power source noise has influenced acoustic noise and pan’s vibration.

この研究は、災害時における安否確認方法としてセンサーを用いることを考えた。そのセンサーへ用いる電源に着目し、安定的な電源供給方法を検討した。センサーは、アクティブRFIDタグを用いた。一般にアクティブRFIDタグの電源は、ボタン電池を用いるが、今回は熱電変換素子を用いた温度差発電によって電源供給を行った。温度差発電は、外気温と人肌体温の温度差によって発電するものである。アクティブRFIDタグが、ボタン電池と比較して、同程度に駆動できることが確認できた。
