In this paper, we investigate of the repeated janken gameto estimate characteristic of game agents. In the repeated janken game, players repeat single"janken"reiteratively. The reppeated janken game has strategy. for examples, random strategy,fixed strategy, repeated strategy,history-based strategy that uses history of opponent hands. We analyze superiority of strategy by computer simulations. As a result, we show superiority of history-based strategy.

The purpose of this study is to represent player's behaviors knowledge for the horizontal bar gymnastic action in terms of fuzzy language. We has developed a kinetic simulator of a player at the horizon bar gymnastic action. This model is coming from many links and jooints. We realize player' s behavior on a computer simulation by fuzzy language based on the human knowledge instead of mathematical expressions. The model of this knowledge was realized by hierarchical structured fuzz control system. This time, we have acquired the control knowledge about giant swing and fling up.

Quantitative characterizations of gray scale images of typical patterns ware carried out by calculating, information entropies. We calculated the information entropy (H_<gs>) of the coarse grainined gray scale patterns by changing the size of coarse graining(s). Typical patterns were constructed by changing both a basic figure and its spatial distributions. Our attempt is to characterize the gray scale images by the graph of Hgs vs. s. We demonstrated that the shape of the graph of H_<gs> vs. s could distinguish among typical patterns.

This paper aims to grasp and evaluate the present condition of the main streets in central Taipei City that was once under the occupation of japan. At frrst,the way of utilization, the structure and so on of each street are investigated by the field surveys. Then, the streets are evaluated from the viewpoints of safety,smoothness,scenery,location etc. based on japanese and Taiwanese students' consciousness. As the results, it is made clear that japanese students tend to regard "location" as more important factor and Taiwanese students tend to regard "safety" as more important factor in the evaluation of the streets.

Yes. The principle of a kaleidoscope can magnify tiny differences of dot patterns. Human brains can recognize a small difference of patterns especially in the case of patterns having some symmetry. The kaleidoscope generates 3-fold rotation symmetry patterns by using the mirrors so that we can recognize tiny differences of time-series by embedding the oeak-value on the scope of the kaleidoscope. We demonstrate this effect using synthetic data and then apply this method to RF echo signal of ultrasonic diagnostic system.

Claude-Nicolas Ledoux (1736 --1806) is one of the visionary architects in the18th century France. Recently, the studies on the architect Ledoux are progressing inside and outside the ccountry. Accordingly,the Ledoux's whole figure is making itself clear gradually. In this paper,we chiefly describe the details about the Ledoux's project "a triumphal arch in Kassel". We publish it as introduction to minute research into one of the most impotant architects in the age of French Revoltion, and more profound investigation of the transformation in architectural thought between France and Germany.

The purpose of this study is to understand what the actual situation of "the secret base playing". We also investigate how children grasp places and environment through the play. We divided an aspect of secret base into three types based on the writing of Masaki Ando. It is concluded that "the secret base playing" is a symbol of another-world such an un-dairy.

A numerical simulation of Hodgkin-Huxley model was carried out by using a Runge-Kutta method. In the numerical simulation, the functions of Numerical Recipes in C were used for solving the Hodgkin-Huxley equation. The accuracy of numerical solutions was discussed for both simple Runge-Kutta method and adaptive stepsize control Runge-Kutta method. The difference between simulation performed by using float type variables and one by using double type variables was also discussed. A large neural network of Hodgkin-Huxley neurons was carried out. A synchronization in the neural network was observed by changing the weight of synaptic transmission.
