一般的に広く存在する被差別部落が屠畜・精肉、製靴などの皮革産業、竹細工と深く関係しているという考え方は、たんなるステレオタイプに過ぎない。その考え方が国民の間に形成されたことは、「科学的研究」の責任の一端がある。明治の初めから、これらの産業・職業の主要な位置を占めたのは、非被差別部落の経営者であり、労働者であった。現在では、被差別部落の人びとは、その立場は弱くてもそれぞれの地域の産業構造に組み込まれ、生産の一翼を担っている。被差別部落にあって、非被差別部落にない産業・職業は一切存在しない。これが研究の結果である。

本稿では、広島東洋カープが二軍の本拠地を置く山口県の由宇町を事例として、プロスポーツを軸とした地域おこしの取り組みについて考察を試みた。関係者への聞き取り調査に加えて、2008年8月に由宇練習場の観客を対象とした大量調査を実施し、観客の構成や集客上の問題点、地域への波及効果に関して分析を行った。この調査データは、スポーツファンの研究においても基礎資料ともなるものである。商工会や観光協会を中心に結成された広島東洋カープ由宇協力会は、イベント開催などの取り組みを行っており、二軍チーム専門の応援団である広島東洋カープ由宇応援隊も様々な活動を行っている。これらは一定の成果を上げており、「由宇球場が好き」という回答は観客の7割近くを占める。しかし、由宇練習場の位置付けがあくまでも「練習場」であることから、観客のための設備は不十分な状態にあり、公共交通機関によるアクセスの悪さや駐車場不足などの問題も抱えている。また、現地での物販が制限されていることから、観客の需要が高いにも関わらず、直接的な経済効果はほとんど上がっていない。また、由宇町が当初期待していた既存の観光資源との相乗効果も生まれていない現状にあるが、調査結果ではPR 方法の工夫などによりこうした現状が変化する可能性があることも示された。In this paper, the author looks at a case of regional vitalization with a professional sport, withan example of the town of Yuu, Yamaguchi Prefecture, in which the farm of the professionalbaseball team is based.In addition to interviews with people involved, the author conducted a mass survey of audienceat the Yuu stadium in August 2008, to analyze the composition of the audience, problems inattracting audience and the ripple effects on the town.The approach has accomplished certain achievements; however, facilities for the audiencein the stadium ― a mere practice ground ― remain insufficient, and the access by publictransportation and parking space is limited. Also, because the sales of merchandise in the stadium are restricted, there are few direct economic effects in the town, despite demands fromthe audience.The synergetic effects with existing local tourism resources are yet to come ; however, theresults of the survey show the possibility that the circumstance may change with, for example,a twist of publicity.

In this work, the effect of discharge condition on the NOx reduction performances by a superimposing barrier discharge plasma reactor is experimentally investigated. The superimposing barrier discharge plasma reactor consists of double coaxial cylinders. The outer tube is made of Pyrex glass with aluminum foil electrode which is the outer electrode. The inner tube is a glass one filled with NaCl solution which is the central electrode, and nickel wire electrode wound on the surface of central electrode is the inner electrode. Amplified AC high voltage is applied to the outer electrode and central electrode, and the inner electrode was used as a common ground. A superimposing discharge is generated by surface or silent discharge of 50Hz and changeable frequency. Experimental investigation has been conducted to reduce NO concentration by two kinds of single discharges operating mode and three kinds of superimposed barrier discharge on the changeable frequency.The results show that the reduction rate of NO at superimposed barrier discharge is higher than that of a single discharge at the same applied voltage. At the range of low discharge power, the highest reduction rate is obtained by silent discharge mode. However, the discharge power is more, the highest reduction rate is obtained by surface discharge mode.

本研究の課題は、パーソナルネットワークとソーシャル・キャピタルの相互関連、および都市特性・地域特性との関連を明らかにすることにある。統計的調査ではソーシャル・キャピタルを「住民力」と表現し、平成20年11月と平成21年9月に世田谷区住民を対象者として「住民力」に関する標本調査を実施した。20年調査では、45歳以上75歳未満の住民から8,000名を無作為抽出し(回収率65.3%)、21年調査では20歳以上75歳未満の住民を10,000名抽出した(回収率54.5%)。分析結果から、住民力とコミュニティ・モラール、投票行動の間に高い相関が見られること、また、居住年数、戸建率などの地域特性と関連することが明らかになった。
