2000年代以降,組織ルーチン研究においてはFeldman‌ &‌ Pentland(2003)をはじめとする,組織活動のダイナミクスを行為や実践の局面に収斂させる方法が主流になっている.本論文ではその問題点を指摘し,批判的実在論に基づいて組織ルーチンを捉え直す.そして,新たに得られた「重層的ダイナミクス」という視野が経営の実践にどのような示唆をもたらすのか,インフラ構築の切り口から考察する.

企業家研究は多元的な概念の発展を通して興隆してきたが、シュンペーターが当初描いた、意志の力を伴って創造的破壊に突き進むという企業家像よりも,富やイノベーション創出のための道具的存在としての企業家像が敷衍している。これに対して、本論文は、フーコーのパレーシア概念を援用することで、「既存の体制と異なる真理を語り、勇気をもって、リスクを冒し挑戦するという企業家の生き方」を「パレーシアステースとしての企業家」と捉える。小倉昌男の事例研究を通して、企業家的真理ゲームとして展開される企業家活動の政治的・倫理的実践のあり方を明らかにする。

The prevailing view regarding working practices mediated by Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is that companies introduce a new activity when its merits outweigh the disadvantages. However, such a functionalistic view ignores most aspects of organizational life. The aim of the present study is to analyze the generating mechanism of ICT-mediated working practices in a spatially distributed organization. Improving the imbrication model of Leonardi (2011) based on critical realists’ analytical dualism, we focus on the contribution of the interplay between human agency and technical objects to the mechanism. The case study of a satellite office illustrates that an agency’s relation to the two types of material properties, intransitive materiality and transitive materiality, generates ICT-mediated working practices in the satellite office.
