This study aimed at discussing the cultural identity formation of Japanese immigrant families as well as the relationship between “Ibasho” (one'where one feels secure, comfortable and accepted) and cultural identity of the families. The participants were 22 Japanese women married to Indonesian men and 10 of their children (Japanese-Indonesian yang adults) living in Indonesia. The Cultural Anthropological - Clinical Psychological Approach [CCA/CACPA] (Suzuki, 2002, 2008; Suzuki & Fujiwara, 1992) was employed between 1991 and 2017. We carried out repeated interviews mainly and used the qualitative analysis. Results showed that Japanese immigrant women became to have two cultural viewpoints in time, namely those of native and host cultures, however, maintained Japanese culture as the basis of their cultural identity throughout their lives. On the other hand, their children acquired more or less both Japanese and host (Indonesian) cultures and formed bicultural identity (“identity as intercultural children with Japanese ancestry”). It was suggested that “Ibasho” played an important role for cultural identity formation.

近代日本のアントン・チェーホフ受容は、レフ・シェストフ『虚無よりの創造』の影響下に長く留まっていた。井伏鱒二は、この"情意"的なチェーホフ解釈の傾向に対して、チェーホフ文学の"社会批評"性に着目し、その相対化を計る。井伏の随筆「桜の園」は、ウラジーミル・エルミーロフ説を祖述しつつ、チェーホフ戯曲『桜の園』を思索的なコメディー、ファルス、ヴォードヴィルと理解し、歴史時代に相亙るその社会批評性の質の再規定を行なっている。

I have undertaken extensive research with the aim of achieving an overview of historical changes in the vocabulary of Japanese with the introduction of new European concepts from the Meiji era (1868 - 1912) up to the present. Works of the philosopher Tetsujiro Inoue in the Meiji era are recently seen as important in the process of introducing and stabilizing such new words in modern Japanese. The present research focuses on how Inoue's studies in Europe influenced the style and format of the third edition of Tetsugaku Jii, a list of scholarly terms and one of Inoue's best-known works. He wrote of discussions with English, German and French professors in his diary, and we can trace his foreign language studies through his notebooks. He insisted in his speeches and in his autobiography that it is very important to study several foreign languages if you study in Europe. We conjecture that the multilingual style with English, German, French, Greek and Latin which Inoue employed in the third edition derived from his studies in Europe.

本稿では、三島中洲が提唱した「義利合一説」の特質を大きく、「天の概念」、「利に対する考え方」、「渋沢への思想的影響」の3点と捉えた。中洲の義利合一説を考察する上で重要なポイントとなるのが、同時代に同じ思想を唱えた渋沢栄一の存在であり、これらの特質は渋沢との比較によって判明した。中洲は、「人の経済」を「天の経済」が投影されたものと捉え、天の存在を義利合一説の論拠とした。そして、天の被造物である不完全な人間が経済を営むがゆえに離反する、義と利は一体化すべきと説いた。中洲は、利と仁義を結びつけて理解した。法律家として司法に従事した中洲にとっては、法体系に則って厳正な司法判断を下すことが義利合一の実践であった。中洲と同じく渋沢も、義利合一の思想的淵源を、陽明学が主張する「理気合一」と「知行合一」に求めていた。中洲から渋沢への思想的影響は存在した。
