The objective of this paper is to clarify some profound changes in the language using adjectivescales (Chigau) . In this paper, we target public tweets of Twitter, because it includes various user'sreal sentences with written language. We analyzed approximately 60000 tweets that have collectedfrom 11 August 2011 to 1 September 2011. The results showed the following. (1) Twitter is space with an unprecedented characteristic. (2) New language culture, which is not written language in spoken language either, is discovering on the Internet.

本研究の目的は、海軍志願兵を取り上げることによって、地域における戦争と軍隊のあり方を明らかにすることにある。特に地域がどのように戦争に協力したかを検討するために、市町村役場文書である海軍関係の兵事資料を複数用いて、海軍志願兵関係兵事会議の分析を行う。これによって、地域における志願兵徴募にどのような人物・団体が関与し、どのような構造で志願兵を集めていたかを明らかにする。この研究を通じて、従来陸軍や徴兵制を中心として考えられてきた軍隊と地域の関係について新たな展望を開く。

Concerning the problem that why TAKEMIKAZUTI appers in the story of Kuniyuzuri in KOJIKI, there is a general view that his apperans is by political interest of Fugieara (Nakatomi) -Ugi. But, his apperans is by a design of KOJIKI that a energy of Izanaki's sword should cover the story of Kuniyuzuri.

The teleplay "Chiritotechin" broadcasted from October Heisei 19 to March Heisei 20, is thework which acquired record popularity in the history of the NHK continuation serialized novel fortelevision. It is thought that factor of its popularity is a precise plot. The fine quality of its scenarioand production is thought finely. Above all, the names by which characters are called symbolizetheir personalities and human relations. I think that the names have played the important role inthe plot. I verified new positioning of the names by which characters are called in fictions whichproposed "Chiritotechin" from the HYOGEN-GAKU viewpoint. In this second paper, I consideredthe interrelation of the names by which characters are called, based on consideration about thecharacters' names in the previous paper. and I clarified the research topic.

Asadora ("morning drama") is a common name of Renzoku Terebi Shosetsu ("serial TV novel"), which is a Japanese serial TV drama program aired on NHK. Asadoras have been popular among Japanese people, especially the elderly. Hanako to An ("Hanako and Anne") and Massan are the 90th and the 91st Adasoras, respectively. Both of them have many scenes where the characters speak English. For that reason, I used them as English teaching materials at public lectures open to the local community. This paper reports on the teaching of English through Asadora, including the results of the questionnaire conducted to the participants and the handouts used in the lectures.

Sarashina-nikki, as follows, can divide into four parts. The first is a diary of the travel to Kyoto from east country. The second is a record of life at the Kyoto home. In this, an article of the separation with older sister by death is included. The third is a record of court life. The fourth is an article of visit to various temples and shrine. In these parts, it can recognize that several diaries and essays (Tosa-nikki, Kagerou-nikki, Murasakishikibu-nikki, Makura-no-soushi so on) have an influence on Sarashina-nikki. From this, you can understand that this diary has the various elements. So, what constitutes a characteristic feature on this work? This dissertation discussed mainly it. In the first part of this diary, the travel is written as opposition of the light space and the dark space. In the next place, it is pointed out that Kyoto home belongs to the latter. As for this opposition of two spaces, in the article of court life and worships it exists likewise. And in it, you can see that stories, the moon and dreams have been mediated between two spaces.

This paper summarizes the perspective of today's young people on family and virtual presences through the reading and comprehension of "Familizing Pets," a teaching text for a modern sentence class. In contemporary Japanese society, an increasing number of people have come to regard pets as family. I surveyed and analyzed whether high school and technical college students at my former places of employment regard pets in this way, as well as whether they regard virtual presences or humanoids as family. The results showed that many people regard pets as family, but few regard humanoids as such. This is because, despite their ability to converse in human form, humanoids are programmed objects with no body temperature. However, some technical college students did regard a virtual presence as family, demonstrating that the form and definition of family has begun to vary between individuals.

Downton Abbey , a British TV drama that is immensely popular at home, has fascinated a large number of viewers worldwide. In this paper, I would like to stress the function of 'Downton Abbey'as an estate. In a glance, the system that maintained the society within the estate seemed to last forever. However, the arrival of the Edwardian Era, whether to the upper or to the lower class of the house, was unavoidable. The point is whether the estate 'Downton Abbey' was able to embrace the new values that dominated the whole society at the early Edwardian Era and whether the house successfully changed itself for the future. Those concerns suggest the fate of English society then was at crisis. In this paper, the function and representation of 'Downton Abbey' is mainly focused, with a discussion of 'Englishness', which is also an important theme to this paper.

I introduce automatic music composition software using Markov chain. The automatic musiccomposition generates melody, chord and rhythm known as three elements of the music. In thesoftware, the melody is decided by 3-gram analysis and double Markov chain , and the chord is decided in original algorithm. This algorithm is called the downbeat-dependence method in this paper.As a result, I succeeded in creating a music composition that has characteristics very similar to the original. Furthermore, the type of chord in automatically-formed musical composition has been found to be greater than the number of the original music.

本研究では,木材の腐朽の心配のない地下水位以深の軟弱地盤を対象として,間伐材を用いた地盤補強技術の開発を行った.軟弱粘性土地盤に施工する道路盛土の補強技術に関しては,現場施工実験と室内模型実験により,丸太打設後に地盤支持力が増加することを明らかにした.また,戸建住宅の直下に丸太を打設する液状化対策技術に関しては,模型振動実験により,住宅の沈下抑制効果を明らかにした.さらに,既設構造物の周囲に丸太を打設する対策方法の有効性も示した.

Recently, EM bacteria have been used for the purification of sewage. EM bacteria are effective microorganisms that contain Lactobacillus bacteria, yeast, mold, and photosynthetic bacteria. Handling of the EM1 material, which was provided by the EM Laboratory, is inconvenient because the material is a liquid. This study examines the facilitation of handling by immobilizing the EM1 liquid on solid materials, which are porous and adsorptive. We developed materials that immobilized the EM bacteria for purifying sewage. The materials examined are bamboo charcoal, coal ash (clinker ash), and porous tuff. All of these materials are EM bacteria carriers.

Dye-sensitized solar cell has been noticed as the solar cell of a new generation. This is the colorful solar cell and is able to be produced from simple materials. It is considered that our students and schoolchildren will be interested for this characteristic. We extracted a variety of natural dyes from the plants and made the dye-sensitized solar cell using those natural dyes. On the basis of those experiments, the introduction to chemical experiment and delivery Lectures have been widely investigated.

表層土の浸食防止策の一つとして,植生シート工法が採用される場合がある。この工法は,適用に際し施工時期が限られるといった課題がある。加えて,斜面上の豪雨によって植生シートに含まれる種と栄養分が同時に洗いだされることで,植物の生長が妨げられることが危惧される。この課題に対応するため,本研究では植生シートからの萌芽・活着が可能となるまでの間,一時的に表層土を安定させる工法を提案した。この工法は斜面や周辺環境に影響を及ぼさない処理剤を使うことが特長である。植生の活着および保水性に関する屋外実験および室内実験の結果,本工法の適用性ならびに限界を明確にした。
