視覚センサを用いたライントレースを行うロボットにおいて、トレース手法と処理速度向上のための制御方法について述べる.視覚センサを用いて床面に貼られたラインを辿り書類や物の運搬を行う.そして,自律化を行うにあたり,比較的性能の低いCPUを搭載する予定であるため,処理の速い制御方法が必要になる.そのため必要と思われる部分だけに画像処理を施すことによって処理速度を向上させる.

We proposed a new mood induction technique using pictures of smiling baby faces and presented example of application on the technique in choice experiment. Based on Baby Schema (Kindchenschema: Lorenz, K. 1965), we hypothesized that a baby face which consist of a big head, relatively large eyes, and the rounded shape elicits altruistic emotion and positive affect. We conducted a choice experiment using the proposed technique. Subjects were presented slides of smiling baby faces before the choice task. The result of the experiment showed that the baby faces elicited positive mood and then promoted the uses of simple heuristics. This finding suggested efficiency of the proposed technique as a mood induction method.

We developed a system that composes BGM automatically with color informations of a picture. This system uses only color informations, so it has no object recognitions and can evaluate full-color picture at high speed.In this paper, we propose a concept of characteristic colors for vision-like evaluating. We succeeded in extracting characteristic colors from a full-color picture by using fuzzy theory and proposing a new expression color method, called dome shaped color system. We also were able to compose various progressive patterns with fuzzy theory, in order to coexist general rules and exceptional inflexions of chord progressions for making music.This system is useful for translating visual informations to suitable auditory informations for handicapped persons, also it can be used for educations with high fused audio-visual media, and so on.

We examined the effect of discount rate presentation (e.g. 40% off) on the consumers' decision making process using eye movement equipment. Ten female participants (average age: 48.4 years old) were asked to choose between two options. The discount rate of option one was higher than that of option two, although total price of option one was higher than that of option two. All eye movements were recorded during experiment in order to examine participants' decision making process. To recheck this finding, we conducted a control experiment without discount rates. The result of the control experiment suggested that the presentation of discount rate influenced the participants' decision strategy.
