Although many ready-made "Yukatas (a kind of Japanese costume Nagagi)" have appeared on the market, there are no official size-system for Yukata". So we surveyed the clothing size and measurements of ready-made "Yukatas" on the market and then studied the validity of their size and measurements through young women's body measurements, and then tried to propose the better size-system for Japanese costume "Nagagi". Materials were market-research data carried out in June to August, 2006, and the body measurements and the cross section data of hips from the 3-D measurements proceeded for 91 female students from 2004 to 2006. We found that the number of clothing size on the market was very small, the clothes were made too long, and the relation among the body measurements was not considered. We also found that the necessity for expanding sizes to width through the scatter diagram of stature and hip girth, and one and half of hip girth was a good indicator for deciding the width of Nagagi. Then we proposed the size-system for Nagagi on the basis of the above results.

In our experiment we asked 201 female college/junior-college students as subjects to judge body silhouettes that consisted of all possible pairs of ten female junior-college students' photographs. We analyzed the data of the pair-wised comparisons in terms of multidimensional scaling and found that the preference of body silhouettes had two dimensions. A multiple regression analysis was also applied to examine the relationship between the somatometric measures of body silhouettes and the two dimensions of preference. As a result, it was found that female college/junior-college students had a tendency to attach importance to the side of the body when they judged silhouettes and they were likely to prefer a body silhouette having a narrow-angled thinner abdomen, and a thicker bust and hips.

要 旨本研究の目的は,神経膠腫の外科的治療後に高次脳機能障害を有した患者の生活の再編成の体験構造を明らかにすることである.初発の神経膠腫の手術後,外来通院中で,みずからの経験を語れる計10名の患者を対象に個別面接調査を行った.生活の再編成を構造的にとらえるため,現象学的アプローチの方法論を基に,A Giorgiの記述的現象学的方法を参考にし分析した.分析の結果,16の構成要素が得られ,さらに「高次脳機能障害の受け止めと対応」といった視点で4テーマが明らかとなった.生活の再編成の構造は,〈高次脳機能障害を伴う行為により生じた異和感〉を意識し,〈障害を目の当たりにした感情の揺さぶられ〉をともないながら現状を受け止め,さらに,自分なりの〈障害を持っても生きられる術の探究〉により新たな生活のしかたを見出し,これから先のことを現実的に考えだすことによって〈垣間見える将来〉に至るということであった.神経膠腫の患者は,退院後,特に他者との交流において異和感を感じるが,高次脳機能障害を有したことで,その異和感をすぐに疾患や障害と関連づけて思考することに時間を要し,そのために生活の再編成に難渋するという特徴があった.また,常に再発の不安もいだいており,障害と併せて将来を不確かにしていた.患者が社会の中で孤立せず,主体性ある人生を送るためには,看護師が患者の社会的な人間関係へ一歩踏み込んで人々に理解と支援を働きかける必要がある.

The main purpose of M. Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology was to stop the fruitless dispute between materialism and idealism, to re-learn seeing the world, and to restore the naive contact with the world. Apparently this phenomenology suggests a unique viewpoint in understanding the existence of 'child'. We can find this viewpoint more directly expounded in his lectures on child psychology and pedagogy held at the Sorbonne. This paper, focusing on these lectures, examines the characteristic points and the meaning of these lectures.Merleau-Ponty proposes a phenomenological child psychology in contrast to child psychology as a positivistic science and he treats pedagogy also as synonymous with phenomenological child psychology. He emphasises the importance of the lived existential relation between the child and the adult which we are apt to miss by objectifying 'child' as the object of positivistic or scientific knowledge.If we dare to attach a name to attempt at phenomenology, we may call it phenomenology of 'child and adult'. It includes a notion of protest against the one-way theory of stages of development from child to adult, and it seems to suggest that human development should be considered only in terms of the structure of co-existence of child and adult.

症例は36歳女性,健康診断にて前頸部腫瘤を指摘され,甲状腺腫瘍疑いにて当科を紹介受診した。頸部超音波検査にて甲状腺左葉下極に27×22×18mm大の辺縁分葉状の低エコー結節を認めた。穿刺吸引細胞診では,細胞質内に多数の好酸性顆粒を認めた。甲状腺腫瘍あるいは甲状腺外迷入病変を考え,甲状腺左葉切除術を施行した。病理学的所見では,腫瘍は甲状腺外軟部組織を中心に存在し,甲状腺組織にも浸潤性に増殖していた。腫瘍細胞は好酸性,顆粒状の豊かな細胞質を持つ類円形細胞よりなり,核異型は認めなかった。免疫染色の結果,腫瘍細胞はS100陽性であった。以上より,顆粒細胞腫と診断した。顆粒細胞腫の大部分は良性腫瘍と考えられているが,稀に遠隔転移や悪性症例の報告もされており,経過観察に注意を要する。

人が他者の身体シルエットについて, 身体のどの部位を見て好ましさの判断をしているかを知るために, 女子大生201名を対象として, 別の女子短大生のシルエッター写真100体中より抽出された普通体型10体に対する身体シルエットの好ましさを一対比較法によって比較判断する実験を行った.多次元尺度構成法による分析の結果, 他者の身体シルエットに対する女子大生の好ましさの判断には二次元的な側面があることが見出された.一方, 刺激として用いたシルエッター写真上の身体シルエットの写真計測値を求め, 回帰分析によって尺度化との関係について検討を行い, 視覚的なシルエットとしての身体のどの点に着目したか, 好ましさを決める客体の条件についての分析を行った.その結果, 身体シルエットの判断には好みにおいて二次元的な変数が見出されたが, いずれも身体の正面よりは側面からの観察によって得られ易い判断であるという興味深い事実が明らかになった.一つは身体シルエットの角度と関係があり, もう一つは厚みと関係があることがわかった.すなわち, 側面における腹部の角度が小さく厚みは少ない方, バストとヒップの厚みは多い方が好ましいと判断される身体シルエットであることが示された
