GPS機能を内蔵したモバイル機器の普及により,属性情報付きの位置データを大規模に収集することが容易になった.オンラインアンケートで消費者の消費傾向や属性を取得し,個人情報保護に配慮したうえでアンケート結果と位置情報ログを結びつけることによって,実際の行動と消費意欲の関係を分析することができる.なお,そのような位置情報ログを「属性付き位置情報ログ」と定義した.今回,首都圏において約1,800名の参加者を募って1カ月弱にわたり実験を実施した.その結果,いくつかの消費傾向分野において参加者の意識は実際の行動に反映されていることが明らかとなった.The widespread of mobile devices makes it easy to collect location-based personal information on a broad scale. After acquiring consumption tendency and personal individual attribute via on-line questionnaire, associating the result of the questionnaire and the location-based personal information log, which named "the location-based personal information log with individual attribute," enables an analysis on the relation between personal behaviors and their intention. This time, with the help of approximately 1,800 participants, an experiment has been conducted in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The result revealed that the intention of participants to spend their money on several types of services and products were reflected to the log of their behavior. In this papar, details of the experiment and the result are reported.

In this study, a new education teaching material using a steam locomotive model to acquire technical skills of high accuracy and high-density assembly is proposed. The proposed teaching material is processed by hand finishing, a turning process, and welding. In this teaching material, the machining and assembling accuracy are evaluated by pressure values, which are required for running, as well as the travel distance of the steam locomotive model. Thus, this teaching material can be used for introductory education for acquiring manufacturing technologies, because the importance of the machining and assembling accuracy can be understood.

This paper presents a monitoring method for paddy fields with hyperspectral remote sensing images in West Java, Indonesia. The statistical modeling method called sparse reguralization is introduced in two forms, that is, LASSO regression for the rice yield estimation and sparse discriminant analysis for the growth stage classification of rice plants, in order to take advantages of the detailed reflectance spectrum measured by numerous bands and to overcome the difficulties in hyperspectral image analysis such as model overfitting. Results of the experiment with airborne hyperspectral images measured by HyMap indicate that sparse regularization can predict paddy conditions with higher degree of accuracy than several estimation methods commonly used in remote sensing applications, such as normalized difference spectral index, partial least squares, or support vector machines. Besides, the prediction models have a limited number of bands which are expected to be informative to figure out the rice growth situation. The overall error between predicted rice yield of the target area and agricultural statistics is 6.40 %, showing the potential effectiveness of methods described in this paper.
