本報告では環境保全型農業経営を視野に入れ,荒廃した草地を簡易に植生回復する追播技術の確立を図ることを目的として,追播時の覆土が雑草,特にエゾノギシギシ(Rumex obtusifolis L .)の発芽および茎数に及ぼす影響について検討を行った 追播時の雑草発芽に対する生態的抑制を図るため,既報(西村,2001)を基に,草地用条播機による追播を想定した覆土が雑草,特にエゾノギシギシの発芽に及ぼす影響について試験を行った。その結果,追播後における,越冬前12月3日,越冬後3月23日および翌春4月26日各々の発芽・個体数(本/m^2)は,覆土区の場合,それぞれ4,6,10本であり,無覆土区については,12,22,26本となり,それぞれの時期における発芽・個体数については,覆土区のものは無覆土区の33%から40%と有意に低い値(p<0.05)を示した.また,オオイヌノフグリ(Veronica persica)およびハコベ(Stellaria medica)の発芽・茎数(本/m^2)についても,覆土区は無覆土区よりそれぞれ低い値を示す傾向があることが認められた. 本研究の結果,草地用条播機による追播の際生じる雑草の発芽抑制策として覆土を用いることは地表面や土壌中に拡散した好光発芽性の雑草,特に強害雑草であるエゾノギシギシの発芽抑制に対して有効であることが示唆された.This study was designed to examine the germination of weeds, especially Broad Leaf Dock (Ro) in a seed-bed covered with the soil (commercial clay). The objective was to examine a natural control mechanism for the control of geminating Ro on a directly drilled pasture sward with the intent of recovering degrading grassland. In this experiment, the number of germinating Ro plants was measured for 6 months (wintering before: December 3, wintering after: March 23, spring: April 26) after sowing in a seed-bed covered or not covered with commercial clay. The number of stem/m^2 for each time period showed 4,6,10 individually in the case of the covered soil, and in the case of the non-covered seed-bed showed 12,22,26 for each respective time period. The number of stems at each time period of the covered soil showed a 33%, 27% and 38% (p<0.05) lower germination than that of the non-covered seed-bed. As regards Veronica persica and Stellaria medica, these number of stems at each time period of the covered soil showed a tendency to be lower germination than that of the non-covered seed-bed. Result from this study suggested that covering the seed-bed with clay soil controlled the germination of Ro as a weed by intercepting light reaching Ro seeds that are light germinators. The present method would be effective in improving direct drilling technology in terms of weed control and recovery of the vegetation in the degrading grass-land.

高齢者の健康状態と生活の追跡調査により、IADL低下に関連する要因として加齢、食料品の買い物等日常生活行動や地域の役割遂行があげられた。また保健師への聞き取り調査から、保健師は日常生活のしづらさを把握して自立生活継続につながるための介護予防マネジメントを行っている反面、介護予防が必要な高齢者の早期発見の工夫が課題としてあげられた。申請者らはこれらの調査から介護予防が必要な高齢者を早期発見するための近隣での見守りリストを作成し、民生委員に調査した。8割以上の民生委員が役立つと回答し、このリストの活用の可能性が示唆された。

我が国の高齢社会は住環境問題に直面している。これは日本の重要な社会問題の1つである。特に上越地域の住環境は重要な問題を抱えている。上越地域には高い床の住宅(私たちは高床式住宅と呼ぶ)が多い。それは冬季には2メートルほども雪が降るからである。高床式住宅がこのまま放置されると,今後大きな不都合を来たす恐れがある。私たちは「トライハウス」の基本構想を提案する。この「トライ」は「誰もが住んでみて試すことができる」ことを意味する。その人に適合した居住空間は「トライハウス」の中で,試行錯誤によって造られる。またその「トライハウス」の運営機構によって,地域の人々の自立を援助する。福祉社会の基盤は住宅である。

生涯を心豊かに生きるための基盤作りとして,学校と地域の美術・博物館が相互の知見を共有し,知的財産(コレクション)を活用した鑑賞学習を多様に試行して七つの実践モデル(CD-ROM)にまとめた。従来,学校で扱いにくいかった分野にも対象を広げ,映像やワークショップ・プログラム,「書」など,実践に一つの道筋を付けたといえる。また,こどもの鑑賞過程で「見る」と「つくる」の密接な関係が確認され,実践計画の立案に示唆が得られた。この成果を公開討論会で問い,社会的な評価を受けている。

The purpose of this study was to develop and to evaluate psychological education programmes in school setting. They were made in terms of cognitive behavioural group treatment in children and adolescents. At first, 4 sessions programme for elementary school children was developed and carried out and the result was evaluated. Next, 11 sessions programme which was revised in the light of the evaluation was implemented at a reformatory and the result suggested that it could promote the control of anger. Finally, 6 sessions programme on changing negative mood was developed and was examined in 199 junior high school students. The result showed the psychological education program significantly promoted the skill of changing negative mood.
