The mechanical properties of rubber vibration isolators depend on the amplitude, frequency, temperature, inclination and mean stress, and have remarkable shape effect. When designing, not only such properties but also the kinds of rubber, the conditions of vulcanization, the influences of blending and coating of different rubbers as to the characteristics of materials have to be considered. Furthermore, the deformation of rubber under usual stress is not infinitesimal. The author has continued calculations and experiments in view of the theory of viscoplasto-elasticity advanced by Prof. Sawaragi and strength of materials. And now it becomes possible to calculate the apparent modulus and spring constant by the successive approximation method. From such results a rational method to design rubber vibration isolators is contrived, considering terms above mentioned as much as possible. In this method using nomographs, design can be expedited with a high accuracy.

It is well known that the characteristics of rubber vibration isolators depend upon their shapes. So the authors obtained experimental equations which show the variations of their characteristics in relation to the shape factor S=(cross sectional area)/(free surface area). They previously proposed the successive approximation method already on a supposition that the variations of characteristics are chiefly caused by shape effect due to their deformations. Here the more accurate approximation method is presented on a supposition that the deformed shape is a sort of rotating parabolic body. And the radius of curvature of bonded part largely influences the moduli of rubber vibration isolators, but even in such cases this calculating method is applicable.

手術侵襲などによる組織障害や感染が生じた生体では,障害・感染を受けた部位のみならず全身からさまざまな外因性・内因性のメディエーターが放出される.リゾリン脂質は,近年の研究により多彩な生理活性を有する脂質メディエーターとして注目されており,その免疫学的作用も豊富であることから侵襲後の炎症性生体反応にも大きく関与している可能性が高い.本稿では主要なリゾリン脂質であるリゾホスファチジルコリン(lysophosphatidylcholine:LPC), リゾホスファチジン酸(lysophosphatidic acid:LPA), リゾスフィンゴシン脂質(スフィンゴシン-1- リン酸(sphingosine 1-phosphate:S1P)の3 つに焦点を当て,手術侵襲後の炎症性生体反応における役割について,自験結果に文献的考察を加え概説する.

Hevea stocks have been used to produce vibration isolators but recently they are using many synthetic rubbers. Each of them has its own merits and demerits, so by vibration tests we intended to explain and compare their characteristics employing hevea stock F.A.Q. No. 3, neoprene G.N.-A., hycar-OR-25 and silicone, so that we may obtain data to decide what sort of rubber should be used to design isolators.The followings were examined: (a) influence of temperature, (b) amplitude dependency, (c) oil resistancy, (d) after effect, and (e) others.

Experimentally, a rubber cord seems to have characteristics of a string on one hand, and of a beam on the other. Equation of motion with a term of damping was introduced as for a rubber cord. Then the solution was compared with the results of experiments, and the dynamical characteristics of rubber obtained as rubber vibration isolators were taken into account. 1) Vibration of rubber cord with a concentrated mass. Linear vibration with one degree of freedom was assumed. Elastic modulus E calculated from this experiment was compared with static modulus. Values of E are thought to be adequate when the ratio between dynamic and static moduli is taken into consideration. 2) Torsional vibration of rubber cord. Shear modulus G^- calculated in the same way was compared with the static shear modulus. 3) Free damped vibration of rubber cord. A term of damping was added to an ordinary equation of string. Results of experiments could be explained by an equation ∂2y/∂t2=a2(∂2y/∂x2)-2c(∂/∂t)(∂2y/∂x2), when an effective value of tension was taken into account.

Fundamental life habits are five items, "eating", "sleeping", "excretion", "purity", "attach or detach" in the field of developmental psychology. We studied eating of children and infants for long years, and reported on No.27 of Memoirs of Ashikaga Junior College, 2006. In this paper, we studied on sleeping of children and infants. It is thought in general that sleeping training of infants starts with making infants recognizing of distinguishing day from night. After about 4 months after their birth, infants starts to sleep deeply in night. When infants are just born, they spend a day as repeating sleeping and waking many times. But about 4 weeks after their birth, they recognize day from night. Then, it is good to start sleeping training after about 4 months from their birth. We did questionnaires about sleeping training of infants of urban areas and compared our data to old data of sleeping training of infants.
