In these days, local special product branding is watched with keen interest as a effective method for activating the reigons economicaly and mentaly. But it has just started, so there are a few researches and arrenged information. It is nessecery to research for the actual condition and the influence of branding.<br>At first I extracted the marine products that are registered a trade mark and put informations in order. Secondly, I clarified the influece of local special product branding for the regional economy and the residense attitude in case of Anori-fugu. The result is 1) adding product value, 2) increasing visitor, 3) producing resident's affection and pride for the region.

Since 14<sup>th</sup> century, in Venice there were the numerous noble palaces converted into the hotel. This custom is remarkable, particularly, in Venice and it continues also during all 19<sup>th</sup> century, while in the other European cities were built many <i>grand hotels</i> as a new hotel building typology. Finally, at the beginnings of the 20<sup>th</sup> century, on the Lido beach it starts to build some international <i>Grand Hotel</i> style architecture. Instead in Venice it begins to construct other new hotels, on-line of the reminiscence of the local traditional historical style. After the Second World War, also now, once more in Venice it is the fashion of conversion into hotels from the historical buildings of many different types.

This study statistically analyzes the account information of the 1,000 public hospitals all over Japan, and the annual deficits are found in more than half. This study analyzes the relationship between the region, the facilities'scale, the operation situation and the building maintenance expense. After the study of the annual revenue, the capital asset, the depreciation cost and the utility cost per bed, the simple and tentative method of the evaluation of the maintenance cost is proposed.

The cohort-component method is widely used for population projection of local governments in Japan. The purpose of the paper is to examine aggregation errors caused by the cohort-component method, which can account for age distribution. First, we show that the populations estimated at aggregated level frequently are less than those at disaggregated level by using municipality data in Ibaraki Prefecture. Second, we prove this tendency through a simple mathematical model using Lexis diagram by focusing on internal migration.

The large-scale residential quarter development which exceeds 50ha is done 374 cases. As for these residential quarters it is many in Tokyo and Osaka periphery. Japanese Newtown Act have made 49 Newtown. Japanese New town Act's law has been given expropriation right. Expropriation right was used 24. areas. Japanese New town Act's law because planned characteristic is strong.

The objectives of this research are to understand the use of traditional houses, to identify the associated tourism impact from the standpoint of maintaining houses in the World Heritage Site, the Old Town of Lijiang, Yunnan Province, China. This is part of an investigation of the problems related to the rapid development of tourism and its pressures on the Old Town of Lijiang, focusing on the use of traditional houses.<br> The findings revealed that the following three points were influencing the transformation of the use of traditional houses.<br>1) The place transformation of each function, such as living, guest room, and etc. in the traditional houses.<br>2) The area transformation of each function, such as living, guest room, and etc. in the traditional houses.<br>3) The social transformation surrounding the traditional houses in the Old Town of Lijiang.
