まず日本国内におけるテロワール調査として東京近郊における参照産品として、野田市の醤油工場見学および研究会を実施。ワイン以外にも「テロワール」の形成がどのようになされているのを検討する上で参照事例となった。将来的な成果発表を行う国際シンポジウムのため、シャンパーニュメゾンのドゥーツ社会長へプレゼンテーションを行い、11月には宇治茶の製茶会社である福寿園の担当者と研究交流会を開催した。1月には台湾調査を実施し、多様な茶生産が流通とともに変容しながらも、テロワールを構築している状況を調査することが出来た。2月には「テロワールと流通」を軸にテロワール報告会を実施。シャトー・クーテットに関する調査分析の進捗を確認し、「テロワール」形成の現場に触れ、研究を深化することができている。一方、2020年3月初めには、フランス・ボルドーのサンテミリオン調査を予定していたが、コロナ発生により断念することとなり、2020年度、2021年度に予算繰り越しにより、国外調査によらない研究活動を実施した。2020年度は研究会をオンライン中心で実施し、9月には東アジア環境史学会大会においてポスターセッション「テロワール研究」を立ち上げ、ボルドー大学のフレデリック・ブトゥル教授をコメンテーターにしたパネルディスカッションを実行することができた。2021年度には3回のオンライン中心の研究会を実施し、また2月に「若手研究セミナー」を京都で開催し、研究を深化することができた。また京都近郊和束町茶業集落および滋賀県のワイナリーの生産現場の調査を行い知見を深めることが出来た。また、国内におけるテロワールの現地調査として、九州における嬉野茶産地やワイン生産の現場の調査を実施することができ、国内外におけるテロワールの実態を把握することができた。

At first, the appartement du Roi in the north wing of the chateau-neuf of Versailles consisted of 7 salons on which plafonds the Seven Planets' theme was painted. The virtues and the scenes in Antiquity that were arranged around the plafonds are related to Louis XIV's virtues and the functions of seven salons. The same thing can be said of the appartement de la Reine. However, the first plan is different from the executed plan. Comparing these two plans, it is probable that the Seven Planets' theme influenced the last that had 3 salon each before and after the chamber.

The maniere de mantrer les jardins de Versailles edited by Louis XIV represents his thought on the gardens and their observation. This paper's issue is to clarify the natures of this guide, here translated in Japanese, and of the visit method, comparing with the verse by La Fontaine. Firstly, its style is very simple, composed only of the enumeration of objects among which the fountains' beauty is insisted. Secondly, its promenade is static, i. e. it consists of special points to stop and to view, but the method for the bassins or the parterres is different from for the bosquets.

The fountains' beauty is very important in Versailles gardens and many efforts were necessary to realize it Among a lot of essays, the Marly Machine pleased best Louis XIV. In this paper, the Machine's architecture, its technological sources and fruits, the Marly Machine's status on the history of mechanical technology are presented and examined. Several drainage arts in the Walloon mines were indeed applied to the Machine composed of fourteen wheels and approximately 250 pumps. It is pointed that its technique was not revolutionary and that the meaning of Marly Machine can not be clarified by the technological research.
