物語テクストに頻出する様々なレベルにおける「反復」は,同一レベルの同一単位について以外にも,隠喩や換喩,或いは提喩などの転義的操作を経たものや,更に微細な類似性に基づくものまで認められる.このような反復は,旋律を装飾する変奏の一種で,定旋律を他声部が模倣的に先取りする手法である「前模倣」に比することが出来る.本報告は『千一夜物語』のテクストを対象として,装飾としての反復について考察する.

「三回化」はプロップ的な機能論における単一機能の反復を示すが,アプリオリに主要な要素とされる機能以外にも「三回化」として解釈可能な要素は物語内に数多く見られる.本報告は,或る述部が「機能」と見做されるか否かは問わず,限定された時空間で明示的に三回反復された同一の,或いは類似した,さらには対照的な述部集合を,主辞や目的語の辞項レベルで比較することによって「三回化」をより広い視座で捉えることを試みる.

In the present study, variations in daily PAH concentrations were investigated in relation to meteorological data and concentrations of other air pollutants in order to verify the effectiveness of the current estimation method. From January 2000 to March 2001, airborne particulates were collected at one site in Okayama, Japan, for 24 h on 7 days each month using a high-volume air sampler equipped with a quartz-fiber filter. The sampling site is in a rural area; however, because the Mizushima industrial zone is located about 15 km southwest of the sampling site and national highway 2 is located about 5 km north of the sampling site, the site usually has high PAH concentrations. From the 105 samples obtained at the sampling site, 23 kinds of PAHs were measured by the gas chromatography/mass spectroscopy (GC/MS) method, and the daily concentrations of 16 out of the 23 kinds of PAHs in air were obtained. As a result, large differences in daily total PAH concentrations, which ranged from 0.69 to 83 ng/m3, were observed at the sampling site. This result suggested that the current estimation method was ineffective. For example, there is a possibility of higher health risks being overlooked if the PAH concentrations are not measured on days on which the concentrations are high. Investigations of the relationship between PAH concentration and meteorological data such as wind direction and wind velocity revealed that the PAH concentrations were significantly and positively correlated with the number of hours per day of southwest wind and that the PAH concentrations were significantly and negatively correlated with the average wind velocity. This result implies that the PAH concentrations in air will be influenced by the Mizushima industrial zone, and that the PAH concentrations will be high on days experiencing southwest wind and low wind velocity at the sampling site.

本研究の目的は大西洋黒人コミュニティー内の文化的つながりにおいて,アフリカ系アメリカ人の伝統(本研究においてはブルースという音楽ジャンル)の歴史=地理的な位置づけを民族誌によって試みることである。民族誌は文化活動をそのコンテクストにおいて探求する一つの方法であることから,アフリカ系アメリカ人のブルース伝統をアフリカの人々との関連において文脈化する有用なツールであると共に,アメリカ,アフリカ両大陸にまたがる音楽所産の理解に寄与するものでもある。具体的には,西アフリカのガーナ南東部エヴェ族の葬祭礼における歌唱の文脈化とアフリカ系アメリカ人によるブルースとの文化的共鳴,つまり「フィーリングで」表演を行うことが,エヴェ族の伝統的な葬祭礼の歌い手たちの間で広く共有されているかどうかを探るために現地において約一ヶ月の参与調査を行った。事前にエヴェ族の社会や伝統芸術,また西アフリカ全般の伝統的表演芸術についての文献資料を収集・検討した後,ガーナ・ラゴン大学アフリカ音楽舞踊国際センター(ICAMD)のサポートにより,幾つかの演奏集団の表演を調査した。取材した映像資料や音楽資料,またインタヴュー記録などのコピーはICAMDの要請によって同センターのアーカイヴに所蔵され,現地における研究資料としても活用される予定である。参与調査の結果,ブルースとエヴェ族葬祭礼歌唱との間の共鳴にとって,「フィーリング」概念が文化的源泉として捉えられるという結論が得られた。また,より実体的な事例としては,表演グループの統率者の役割が表演全体を通して特徴的であるということが付加され得る。なお,これらの参与調査の報告に関して11月に広島市立大学国際学部にて招待講演を行った。

脳神経外科疾患に対する治療手段の多様化などにより, 開頭術者は限られた症例で効率的に手術手技を学ぶ必要性が高まっている. さらに, “働き方改革” など社会情勢が変化する中, 外科医にとっても時間生産性向上が求められている. デジタルイラストレーションの特徴を踏まえ, 筆者らが行ってきた時間生産性, 教育効率性向上を目指した手術イラストを用いた手術教育について報告する.

Born as a technique of persuasio, rhetoric has been organized according to five canons in Latin rhetoric. These canons were subsequently reduced down to onlyelocutio, due to various factors such as the invention of typography where the written text replaced the verbal text as the object of elocutio. Elocutio itself was later gradually reduced to kinds of tropes, then to tropes pairings of metaphor and metonymy, and finally to the metaphor. In spite of its declared demise at the end of the 19th century, rhetoric was revived after the latter half of the 20th century by structural linguistics, and modern rhetoric continues to transform in close contact with poetics and semiotics. Among neo-rhetorical researches on the figures, Groupe μ's approach seems to provide one of the most elaborate models. The model regards figures as a system of metaboly, where four simple operations are executed on a text at various elemental levels. The aim of this article is to reinvestigate the whole system of rhetoric from a cognitive viewpoint by presenting not only rhetorical resources -- specifically the figure system of Latin rhetoric (Cicero and Quintilianus) and French classical rhetoric (Dumarsais and Fontanier) which is the legitimate heir to the former -- but also Groupe μ's several productions which have yet to be introduced to academic research apart from Rhétorique générale.

本報告は,インド洋西域で採話したコモロ民話について,ブレモンの分析モデルに基づくモティーフ連鎖を情報生物学ツールによって整列し,その結果から得られた進化系統樹において認められた,トリックスター類話群と超自然的存在を扱う類話群との微細な分岐過程を,ブレモンが措定したモティーフ結合における「物語世界を支配する論理的拘束」及び「個別的/特徴的な,時代的・文化的慣習」と関連付けて分析することを目的とする。

本報告はブレモンの構造主義的物語分析モデルを『千一夜物語』に適用したシロンヴァルのモティーフ索引から,人物間の報奨/懲罰という二項体系のモティーフ群をデータとして,それらの関係をネットワークで表すことを試みた.その結果,報奨/懲罰のような二項的関係性をネットワークによって明確に可視化出来ること,また次数中心性の出次/入次を,或る人物の動作主/受動主としての機能と読み替え得ることが明らかになった.
